Tirzepatide (Zepbound) is MAGIC for PCOS

(EDIT: Does anyone have any idea why the mods of the PCOS group removed this post? Wtf? 🤔)

For those with insulin resistance pcos, struggling with getting regular period, ovulation, the entire absence of periods, weight gain, etc (I can’t speak on the other symptoms I have like hormone imbalance & high testosterone due to insulin resistance bc I haven’t gotten blood work again, but I assume it’s correct those issues as well given my natural period has came back already).

I am 2 1/2 weeks into taking compound tirzepatide (I go through Fifty410 Club Compound & Hallandale Pharmacy & select the option with NO additives, because I wanted the formulation to be the same as name brand Zepbound), & I just started a NATURAL period for the first time in 2-3 years! I have not had a natural period outside of an induced provera period for at least 2-3 years & it’s only been 2 weeks on tirz & it already is obviously fixing the insulin resistance powerfully enough to already induce a period.

In addition, I have lost an average of 10 pounds in these 2 1/2 weeks. Hopefully it’s not muscle or my butt being taken bc I haven’t been in the gym, but I plan on starting weight training asap!

I have tried many things, natural supplements, Ovasitol for a year, metformin etc & NOTHING really worked. The only thing Ovasitol did was knock my A1C down from 5.7% to 5.4% & it took a whole year of consistent use for it to do that, but it didn’t improve not one of my other symptoms.

No consultation fees, no monthly membership fees, all I did was pay $249 for an 8 week supply (might be 12 week supply because they gave me extra mgs that wasn’t expected for my second month, but if I don’t have to titrate up from 2.5 mg to 5 mg, this $249 supply will last me 3 months!

It is extremely affordable & worth it, & I recommend it to EVERYONE struggling with insulin resistance pcos!

This is NOT a paid ad, just a struggling young woman that has felt helpless regarding my disorder for years like I would never find effective solutions, that wants to help those in similar situations because I understand, & I wish I would’ve found & started tirzepatide years ago!

Should I be concerned about this rust?

2008 Hyundai Sonata recently passed inspection & I’m looking to buy it from someone. The only issue I see the car has is this rust. My concern would be that it spreads to other car parts that cause mechanical failure and/or inspection failure next year.

My current car has rust in the same area, but I don’t think it ate through yet, but it also hasn’t gotten worse in the 3 years since I bought it. I’m just a girl tho & not a car expert so idk.

2008 Hyundai Sonata for $2400 with 115k miles. This rust is the only known issue.

2008 Hyundai Sonata 4 Cyl?

I’m contemplating buying a 2008 Hyundai Sonata 4 cylinder with 115k miles. For those that have owned this car, and/or mechanics who service cars often, how reliable is this car?

I also went through the car fax & I don’t see any major maintenance history outside of routine stuff like oil changes & inspections, & a transmission fluid flush at 50k miles. Makes me worried that if I buy it, repairs are going to start stacking since not match has been repaired on it since the car was built.. unless the previous owners did all repairs on their own. Waiting on a response from previous owner about maintenance question.

Good facewash & moisturizers for hydration & glowing skin? Skincare routines etc

Looking for good skincare routines to get my skin hydrated & glowing again. I don’t think the Cerave facewash & moisturizer routine is working. My skin has been looking odd & not hydrated, leading to fine lines being more pronounced it seems, especially on the forehead.

If you have good, glowing, hydrated skin, which facewash, moisturizers, face masks etc do you use?

And does anyone have experience with liquid collagen for extra help?

Skin Damage - Healing Questions

I have a patch of thermolysis electrolysis damage that are indented & resemble mild acne scars on one part of my face to the left of my chin from a bad tech that occurred 6-7 months ago. It is slowly healing & looks better than it once did, but not healing fast enough for me. I have noticed though since applying Neutrogena Retinol A + Vit C overnight cream, I have seen significant improvement in only like 2-3 weeks, but skin still not even like it should be & still some indented & uneven marks, they just have slightly improved.

Frustratingly, the damage I’m talking about I cannot get a good picture on my camera even with flash to show what it looks like. No matter which way I turn the camera, I can’t get a good pic of what it really looks like. I slightly got it in one pic when taking it from an angle, but the pic doesn’t do it justice what it really looks like in person so I don’t want to post it & ppl think I’m over exaggerating. (HOPEFULLY that means the marks are not as deep as I believe they are, because I can clearly see peoples indents in damage photos I’ve seen on these forms but I can’t get a good picture of mine at all)

I have a couple questions. Has anyone had similar issues & did more aggressive creams like tretinoin etc help more & faster? And if so, what combination did you use to heal your skin for those with similar issues? Also, have you tried at home microneedling or other procedures to assist? (My concern with microneedling would be causing increase of hair growth due to increase of blood flow in that area)

I’ve stopped electrolysis on this patch of skin so it can heal so I don’t further damage it because that patch of skin is so sensitive it seems even where there’s not marks, it can’t handle zaps to hairs near the damage zone because additional zaps cause additional pitting / skin damage which is really frustrating so I can’t get electrolysis done currently anywhere near the damaged zone… I’m losing my patience because I want to obviously continue electrolysis in this area & need to know what I can do to heal faster.

Also, has anyone taken liquid collagen to help skin heal & does that help as well?

Should I Be Concerned? (09 Nissan Altima)

So I’ve had my 2009 Nissan Altima for 3 years & have put about 40-45k miles on it. Bought it at around 145k miles & it’s a little over 185k miles. I deliver with my car for work & travel long distances.

My car isn’t perfect (AC compressor went out, After market radio previous owner installed has a short in the wires somewhere so doesn’t work anymore, windshield has a big crack since I bought it) BUTTT mechanically, this car has been VERY good to me! I haven’t needed anything outside of brakes besides an alternator (that was my fault tbh), power steering leak that cost $200 part & labor included to fix (but I drove with the leak for 1-2 years & just kept filling it up), & a coolant hose leak that was $200 to fix.

I also noticed the transmission fluid was a later color whenever I bought it, so I’m guessing the fluid was changed sometime before I bought it. And I do know previous owner did a catalytic converter repair.

MY CONCERNS: last summer, while on my first long highway drive of 6 & a half hours, my car started to decelerate bad, to the point I was punching on the gas harder than I thought I could push on it, & my RPM was super high but I was stuck at around 60 mph. It briefly stopped then started again. I pulled off & stopped & filled my gas tank up & the problem didn’t happen the rest of the way, & it didn’t happen on the way home, but that same issue happened like 2 more times in the following months ONLY on long highway drives. Soon as I’d pull over, rest for a couple minutes & get gas the issue stopped.

ALSO, this issue does not occur at all during city driving during frequent stop & goes while I’m delivering & that issue did not happen the entire year I had been driving delivering food for over a year up to that point, & it hasn’t happened since. And it didn’t happen on every long highway trip, only a few, but I did start to try to control my speed & not hit 90 mph & stay at 70 mph, 80 max & that seemed to maybe help.

The service engine soon light also just turned on a couple days ago & is scanning for a O2 sensor replacement. My ABS light is also on but it’s been on for over a year & I distinctly remember when I had hit a curb the year prior & it turned on so I assumed it’s a sensor.

I’m just a girl & I don’t know cars well, but I know for the beating I’ve put on my car it’s been good to me so far. Due to all the reasons mentioned tho, because I have some extra money right now, I’m contemplating buying a second car just in case. I’m not sure how much work my car will require for inspection & I’d rather just get a new car that’s functioning right across the board including AC & radio etc instead of putting that money into the car I have now, but I am nervous with buying a new car because I’ll be mad if I spend another $3-4k in my car & it turns out to be worse off mechanically than the car I have now. But my car is now at over 185k miles.

Should I go ahead & get a new car at this point & keep this one for back up, or do you think the issues with my car are minor & it’s safe to fix my current car & keep driving it?

I would just sell the car I have now & put that towards a new one, but I am so scared to get rid of it & buy a car that ends up being worse off than the one I have now so I think maybe keeping my current car for back up is best? I also don’t want to pay for 2 car insurances etc tho

Would love opinions on what people think & if you’d just get a new car & keep the one I have now for emergency back up, or try to sale the one I have now, or just fix the one I have now & it’s good to keep driving.

Derminator 2 vs Dr Pen

I’m new to microneedling & now trying to decide between the derminator & dr pen. My main goal is to heal a patch of pit / acne type of marks resulting from electrolysis damage. I may move onto other areas after, but that’s my reason for buying the device so I will be going 1-1.5 mm in depth I think for my situation.

Dr Pen is obviously cheaper than the derminator especially regarding tariff tax etc, but I am seeing that the derminator is better because it doesn’t create “tears from dragging”, but what if I use the stamp method with Dr Pen? Will it be the same quality as the derminator if I use stamp method?

Also, has anyone bought their Dr Pens off shein? I’m worried they’re marked down from $109 to $50 on shein because they’re fake & not real Dr Pens.

My main focus is effectiveness & results. If derminator 2 gives better effectiveness & results, THEN I’m more tempted to pay the extra money & wait longer for it to arrive. If Dr Pen gives same results & I can reduce possibility of damage by stamp method, I don’t see the point in paying the extra money & waiting longer to receive the device.

At home pens, which is more effective?

So I’ve seen people talk about results regarding both the $40 pen & the $90 pen in the pic. I of course would like to save money & get the $40 pen if it’s going to be just as effective as the $90 pen. Why is the Dr Pen double the price, & sometimes more than double the price ($130 for a similar type of Dr Pen on Amazon)?

For reference, I am doing to be doing at home microneedling for electrolysis damage that resulted in a patch on my face that has pit marks that resemble acne scars (if that even matters for pen type.. I’m new to this). It’s been about 6-7 months since the damage occurred, & while it has slightly improved, the damage is still noticeable & doesn’t seem like it’s going to resolve on its own so I want to turn to at home microneedling.

I would love to hear pros & cons of both pens, thank you

Just started taking Tirzepatide a week ago & on the 2.5 mg. It is recommended for me to go up to 5 mg in 4 weeks. Curious for those on tirzepatide that have PCOS, did you have to exercise & change diet a lot to lose weight, or did the weight start coming off without exercise & major diet changes as the PCOS got better?

I gained like 50 pounds in 2 years & I’m 200-205 at 5’7, & I’d like to lose the 50 pounds I gained, at leats the weight in my face because a lot of it went to my face.

I like exercising, but I am recovering from an ankle fracture, so I won’t be in the gym how I want to be any time soon, & when I can get back into it, obviously won’t be able to go as hard with my workouts as usual, so please don’t waste my time with the “don’t be lazy” comments because this ain’t that.

Also, if tirz corrected your hormones & your testosterone went down into normal ranges & Hirsutism lessened / completely stopped, I’d love to hear those stories as well because that’s also a goal of mine. Please don’t comment about Spiro. I am aware of Spiro already, & I haven’t read any stories about Spiro doing a lot of Hirsutism except “slowing growth”. I want to fix the root cause, not mask it, which should naturally correct the high testosterone issue & the symptoms accordingly.

I also know my questions might have been answering in previous posts, but please don’t get smart when ppl repeat questions & understand that there’s thousands & thousands of posts & comments on PCOS & tirzepatide & not everyone has came across the same posts / comments as you.

Someone is selling a 2011 Chevy Cruze with 98,000 miles for $2500. They wanted $3,000 but I got them to come down a bit. The only issue they said it’s the ABS / traction light turns on sometimes & they can’t figure out why.

I am a girl & I don’t know much about cars, but in my current car my ABS light has been on for awhile with no issues yet. Also I usually would stay away from Chevy Cruz bc I heard their junk but $2500 for only 98k miles & nothing wrong except ABS light is sounding like a deal that’s hard to pass up.

I’d love to hear what people think & experiences with Chevy Cruze.

I am just now starting Tirzepatide, 2.5 mg per week through Hallandale pharmacy. My package just arrived today! The provider I’m going through (Fifty410 Club Compound) has gave me the instructions to break my dosage down into 1.25 mg twice a week? This is the first I’m hearing this. Has anyone else been instructed to do the same?

I’ve already started ovasitol & metformin, & will be adding tirzepatide when my order arrives. I know people are having good results on tirzepatide for PCOS hormone balancing & symptoms, but was curious for those that take all 3, how quick / drastic your results were?

Which pharmacy is safest & better for tirzepatide? Hallandale, BPI, or Apothecary? I’m leaning towards Hallandale. Just got approved through Fifty410 & those are my choices

Tempted to go through Lilly Direct for pure zepbound, but they are twice as expensive & you need a script from a doctor, which I don’t have yet & I want to start asap.

I can technically afford Lilly Direct if I had to for now, but if I can get the same quality & safety for over half the price, why not.
