Seats
A couple people were asking about seats from the video I posted the other day. Now that cage is welded, time to get interior parts going.

Finished building the cage and got a chunk of it welded in so far this week. 1-3/4” tubing
Buying a ‘97 with a blown head gasket from a coworker for $1,500 as it’s what he spent on tires right before the gasket went. Mostly buying it for a camping rig, but also for a 4wd for winter use when it snows. 240k miles on the 3.4, but no rust thanks to spending its life in AZ and NM.
Who else is working on a squarebody? ‘83 c30 with a “max effort” 6.2 LSA ~900 hp on e85
Been busy with work, but finally putting some more work into the ‘83 c30. “Max Effort” 6.2 LSA build (~900 crank hp on e85), building a 10 point cage, rear disc brakes, Eaton locker, caltracs, corbeau seats and keeping it a true dually. Once it’s up and running, I’d like to do the QA1 front end or something similar. Factory bed is getting turned into a flatbed. Haven’t decided how I want to do the dually fenders just yet, but have a set of step side fenders I am probably going to make proportional to the bed.
High school graduation gift for a buddy’s daughter. $200, but it’s movie prop money 😬 So after she goes through the frustration of locktite and nylocks to get it open, it’ll be for fake money. I gave her dad the real cash for tonce she gets it open. The bolts that go through the middle of the money have been cut and welded to where they are just for amusement and not actually going through the money. Two rules: she has to open it by herself and only use wrenches/sockets.

2022 Street Bob 114 stage 2 - Woods 22XE cam, Bassani exhaust, Velocity intake and power vision tuner
I spoke with the guys from Fuel Moto after sending them some data logs due to excessive exhaust under throttle. After looking it over, they advised it looked like I might have a vacuum leak feeding on something going to the rear cylinder. Any suggestions on where to start? I've lightly sprayed carb cleaner around the seams of the intake to see if the rpm's went up, but that seems to check out just fine. Thanks for any info ya might help with!
