Why reading/watching the books never get to the good parts?

I feel like they always start good with Lightning Thief and then you likely get a Sea of Monsters and maybe MAYBE you get Titans Curse, but I never see any that get to the end of the war?

Like people, I wanna see the Reactions of when people are actually dying? I wanna see the gods upset about their kids dying in the last Olympian.

I wanna see the other demigods reacting to the death of their friends and family.

But no it’s always the same thing with the Lightning Thief, and I understand cause it would be awkward to start at the later half of the books without doing the first, but authors get burnout.

And again, understandable. I’m not an author but I imagine it gets tiring, basically rewriting a whole book plus all the reactions and conversations.

But I wanna see the actual climax of the series. I would like to see the gods reaction to Kampe and the battle of the labyrinth.
Maybe some regret with calypso or them to double down on her punishments.

The flying pig that no one has ever killed in history but then Percy does that.
Or taking a dip in a certain river downstairs and then beating up hades like he owes him money.

Apollo reacting to (was it Lee or Mitchel ) dying on the bridge.
And of course seeing dearest father/grandfather Kronos.

Just all the good stuff ya know, not the waterpark or medusa for the 50th time.

Harry could use plants and resources as foci (Like a wand but single use)

I remember he used like lavender or sage or whatever to trick the dursleys into being really complacent with him and allow him to garden in peace for more plants.

He also felt bad that he was manipulating them but didn’t care to stop either.

I don’t remember if there was a pairing of sorts.

I hope that wasn’t too vague of a description, I really don’t remember that stronger plot points

The gods are grieving their empty cabins

I saw a video of a pre TLO Apollo cabin to then post TLO in which it shows how full of life and numbers the cabin is and then post war to how empty and cold the cabin is when a lot of them died.

And I wanna know if there are any fics that show that the gods are actually impacted by the deaths of so many of their children.

And like also of the others goddesses like hestia who would be at the campfire at camp and sees the loss of life and is genuinely grieving the loss of her family or maybe give Hera some character growth and that while she doesn’t like demigods, she is still the goddess of family and maybe motherhood(I don’t actually know if that’s one of her domains, maybe that’s Rhea?) and can feel the grief of losing a child and comforts her siblings and step children while they mourn.

Maybe not like “Oh and suddenly the gods have empathy and abolish the ancient laws and pretty much live in the cabins with the remaining children” kind of situation but kinda like how in the trials of Apollo he understand the troubles of demigod life and grew as a being afterwards.

So just looking for the grief of the gods post war, essentially.

Any recommendations would be appreciated, please and thank you.

Harry time travels to meet his parents but it’s Jegulus

Or flip it around and marauder era people are in the future.

But I just want harry to have a good relationship with them.

And I love the Jegulus fics where James is just smitten and regulus hides it but is just as smitten, so why not add in harry that’s not a baby and can fully appreciate having family that love him.

It doesn’t have to be lily bashing cause I reckon mature James would be besties with lily even if they aren’t together.

So any recommendations would be wonderful, love me some fluff and some parental love directed at harry when we all know he needs someone to support him (they all try in canon but they could’ve done better, except Molly overworked queen that she is)

Please and Thank you in advance.

Villain Deku but is independent to the league or the yakuza (specifically Overhaul)

I’m thinking izuku becomes a villain in whatever way works, is quirked or quirkless, doesn’t matter but when he does go villain he doesn’t immediately team up with the LoV or somehow meets Overhaul and becomes some Lieutenant or whatever

If he works with them on occasion that’s fine but I want him to build his own reputation and possibly form his own group.
He can nab members from the other groups or whatever.

He doesn’t even need to be full villain but morally grey anti hero that does bad stuff for the betterment of his goals

I remember one where he had a tattoo quirk and that he could bring the art on his skin to life or they had passive effects on him (Awesome idea for a power btw) and his fathers side of the family were yakuza that lowkey hated overhaul and his grandmother was the leader and was like a phoenix or something, but they were still yakuza and were technically villains but they were doing their own thing which is what I’m after.

(Link of that fic if anyone wants it)

So yeah morally grey to villain deku that just kinda does his own thing is the general vibe I’m after.

Thank you in advance for any and all recommendations!
