Parkwood confirms B'DAY is getting a 20th Anniversary Edition!

NEW YORK, July 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Beyoncé marks the 4^(th) of July Holiday with a special gift to her fans with the release of "MORNING DEW (DONK)," a new song that also starts a 60-day countdown to her next birthday, and the re-issue of B'DAY, her ground-breaking second album that was released two decades ago on September 4, 2006.

Written by Beyoncé, Pharrell Williams, The-Dream and Darius Dixon, and produced by Beyoncé and Pharrell Williams, "MORNING DEW (DONK)" is the first new song offered from the global entertainer in two years, and it is a direct nod to her loyal BeyHive to commemorate the upcoming epic celebration of B'DAY.

The song, which will be included on the 20^(th) Anniversary edition of B'DAY, arrives accompanied by a lyric video that repurposes old footage, directed by frequent collaborator, Cliff Watts.  It was Cliff Watts who shot Beyoncé's iconic Sports illustrated Swimsuit cover around her 25^(th) birthday.

B'DAY, was the second #1 album for Beyoncé with first week sales of 541,196 copies after its worldwide release September 4, 2006, and in the United States on September 5, 2006.

The #1 US Billboard 200 Album chart debut was repeated internationally, including Japan, where it took less than three days to land atop the International Album Chart.

How do you guys handle multiple floors?

I recently received my Saros 20 and while it works great on the ground floor, I haven’t found a good workflow yet for cleaning the first and second floors, especially when it comes to mopping.

My goal is eventually to integrate it with smart buttons so my parents can use it without needing to open the app regularly.

Current workflow

Vacuuming

For vacuuming, the process is fairly straightforward:

  • When the robot is idle, I manually roll it out of the dock and carry it upstairs.
  • I then start a vacuum-only cleaning through my home automation system (buttons).
  • Once it finishes, I carry it back downstairs, place it in front of the dock, and press the Home button on the robot so it returns to the dock.

This works well enough.

Mopping

Mopping is where things become much more complicated:

  • I press a button that starts a mopping routine for the first or second floor.
  • Because the robot is still on the ground floor, it first washes/wets the mop pads at the dock, which is exactly what I want.
  • However, instead of waiting for me to move it upstairs, it immediately starts cleaning the ground floor.
  • I then have to stop the robot, carry it upstairs, and restart the cleaning task again.

At the end of the cleaning cycle, there’s another issue:

  • When the robot finishes mopping upstairs, I have to carry it back downstairs manually.
  • I place it in front of the dock and press the Home button so it docks.
  • However, after docking, it doesn’t wash the mop pads. This requires input from the app, which I want to avoid.

As a result, mopping the upper floors requires quite a bit of manual intervention and doesn’t feel nearly as smooth as vacuuming.

I’m wondering if I’m missing something. Does anyone have a better workflow or any tips for handling multi-floor mopping with the Saros 20?

Did Beyoncé forget Valentine’s Day ended months ago? 😭 😭 😭

The concept of selling Valentine's merch when it's almost JULY is something I will never understand.

Honestly, I really don't understand Shop Beyoncé's strategy, but I guess it's always really been an afterthought.

Saros 20 - Water droplets on the floor - Is this normal?

So I got my first robot vacuum and everything seems to work! However, I did notice that there are some drops on the floor after the robot has been recently fed with water from the dock.

I think it's coming from the inlet port. It's just some small drops here and there on the floor not a puddle or anything.

Is this normal behaviour or is this a sign of an issue that might get worse?

Should I really avoid tap water in my robot vacuum?

I live in an area with moderately hard water. To give you an idea, I do notice some limescale on my shower door after a few showers.

I see many people that recommend using tap water and periodically doing a rinse using citric acid to remove limescale buildup.

Others highly recommend using only distilled water or even filtered water from a BRITA or ZeroWater can. However, this adds additional costs and effort.

My robot is arriving this weekend and I'm feeling kind of anxious what to do. I am not really interested in installing complicated filters in my house either, because honestly I don't even drink tap water. But I also don't want to shorten my robot's lifespan.

What would you guys recommend? Your expertise is greatly appreciated!

An objective analysis of the May 29th theory

Now that we are less than a week away from May 29th, I figured to create this post to summarize the May 29th theory and to objectively go through it in order to manage our expectations accordingly.

If you are not familiar with the May 29th theory, you can find a summary in the spoiler tag below. If you are familiar with it, then I recommend to continue reading to not waste your time.

>!The theory is mainly based on the fact that both act i and act ii have been released on a Friday the 29th in the year of their release. Since there is two years between act i and act i and the only Friday this year that would match this pattern is Friday May 29th, it is heavily rumored that this will be the release date of act iii. Furthermore, May 29th also marks the anniversary of Tina Turner's most popular album Private Dancer (major anticipated influence of act iii). While the Tina Turner link is a weaker argument, it does add up nicely. !<

We are almost approaching 800 days since the release of Cowboy Carter. This is signficantly longer than the time between the release of Renaissance and Cowboy Carter (609 days).

With the transition from act i to act ii, Beyoncé really made sure that the momentum was not lost. Think about it: the Renaissance tour ended in October 2023 together with an announcement of the movie, in December 2023 we got the movie and just two months later Cowboy Carter was already announced at the Super Bowl.

The transition from act i and act ii was relatively action packed and did not leave much of a gap, especially with the holidays in between. With act iii however, Beyoncé has remained largely silent since the Cowboy Carter tour wrapped up. Nothing trilogy-related was announced after, so it's been silent for almost 10 months.

It is now the week before May 29th and she has still not made any announcement. Does this mean that the theory is effectively dead? Not necessarily, but we have to also temper our expectations.

If May 29th is actually true, Beyoncé could opt for two choices: (1) a 'surprise' drop or (2) an extremely short rollout. Let's quickly go through these two options.

(1) A surprise drop, while possible, will not be as surprising as her self-titled album. After all, we already heavily suspected the date, so it's hardly a surprise anymore. But we can not rule this option out entirely either.

(2) A short rollout is more likely in this case in my view, as this will also allow for a pre-order window which is very lucrative for her business. The hype can definitely increase sales and it would be unwise from a business perspective to not capitalize on it. Due to the short rollout, a lead single will likely not appear before release. Instead, she could decide to launch the lead single(s) simultaneously with the album.

Either way, a short rollout or a surprise drop does, in a way, offset the longer silence by giving us a more fast paced rollout compared to both act i and act ii.

However, we must also face the fact that she could decide to release later this year or even next year if she wants to hold to the suspected release pattern. In this case though, Beyoncé would willingly accept that the momentum and excitement levels of the trilogy will decrease dramatically.

Because let's not forget, the May 29th theory, even if it does not turn out to be true, did give us something to look forward to and generate hype. If this is lost, fans will accept that they have no clue when it's coming out and naturally the hype will die down until re-established again.

In conclusion, I would definitely not write off the May 29th theory just yet. However, we must prepare for the worst as well.

Today is World Bee Day... what if act iii is announced today?

What if she actually uses this special day to announce act iii and release it May 29th?

I assume we won’t get a lead single anymore before it releases, but she could always do that later.

It all sounds so perfect, announcement on world bee day, release on May 29th to complete the trilogy pattern...

I am spiraling into delulu mode guys...

Update: the bees celebrated their birthday and nothing happened.

Samsung Z Fold 8 or Oppo FInd N6?

I will buy a new phone as a gift to my mother. She is currently using an older Samsung Galaxy device so it's time for an upgrade. Her main use cases are watching YouTube, , texting, videocalling scrolling on social media and web browsing. So nothing special.

I will definitely wait for the Z Fold 8 as it is expected that the crease will be much improved and quite frankly, it's also just around the corner.

However, assuming only the crease will improve and the rest of the changes are minor, should I go for the Z Fold 8 or get the Oppo Find N6? The Oppo is not officially sold in my country, but I don't have to import as a reputable local store is actually selling them now. Though I am not sure how strong the repair services will be if anything does go wrong. But I am less worried about that since I will buy it from a local store with warranty set by law.

What would you guys recommend in my case?

The time between all 3 acts so far 🤔🤔🤔

Interesting to see the comparison. The Cowboy Carter era has lasted almost half a year longer than Renaissance and it's still going strong!
