With the holidays coming up in a few months, I know it’s dependent on the agency, but what agencies get special leave granted during the holidays? I am with HHSC and we got 28.5 hours of special leave last year. I want to get a new job with the state of Texas but want to know which grant special leave for the holidays.
I’ve tried calling MOHELA and no one answers. I then tried sending a message to them on last week and have still not received an answer from them. Anyone else having this issue?

If you’re going to come to Texas or the south in general and complain about everything I would advise not moving down here. We know Abbott and republicans suck we’ve been gerrymandered out of flipping Texas blue. But again moving down here is a choice and you don’t have to move down here if you’re going to complain.
Do you have any additional chances at getting an interview if you apply through the internal website or is still just based off your resume?
With the RTO mandate, I wish they would spruce up the building a little bit more. Like there’s a cooking area in Winters that they use for storage. Why don’t you have some workers come in and utilized the space for a cafeteria instead of storage.
