I’m annoyed…

I got my nose pierced professionally on May 31st and it was healing great, like I felt no pain, irritation or redness. It looked like it was healed around 2 weeks (ik not possible). Welp now out of no where abt a week or so ago I noticed a tiny bump and I feel like it keeps getting bigger. I’ve left it completely alone and don’t bother it but it’s still being a diva. My piercer is saying to wait to downsize and just keep cleaning it once a day and leave it be. Idk why I’m posting here but yea just wanted let my frustration out 😭

Am I the only one?

I experience leaking the first 2-3 days of my period within 3 hours of putting in a cup, even my back up pad gets a decent amount of blood on it. Is this normal, do I have heavy periods? Ik it’s in properly bc it doesn’t leak on days 4 through 7/9. I mostly use the larger one from the pic. I think it holds 30ml and is usually full past the 25ml mark when I go to change after experiencing leaking.

I started using these in Jul of 2024. Only got to use them abt 5-6 times before getting pregnant again. I remember experiencing the same issue in 2024 as I am rn.

Should I do it or leave it?

Hello all! I need some advice. I am a total beginner when it comes to this stuff but I’ve helped my dad out a lot and feel like I can do it but I’m doubting myself.

We have beaver board and battens in two of our rooms, I think it is hideous and wanted to paint it until I realized there is drywall underneath it. I removed one panel to see and it looks bad, I really want to remove all the panels and hopefully get the walls smooth then paint over it. Do y’all think it would be a good idea well as my first ever Reno project? Or should I just paint the beaver board and call it a day? I really want to make a fun and whimsical playroom for my toddlers. I had faith in myself but my husband is very anxious about me ruining it. I already some how broke the light switch when trying to remove that one panel and will need to replace it which isn’t hard at all but my husband is being annoying abt it and that is making me doubt I can attempt this project. I don’t wanna tear the walls down and then be stuck with a mess that I can’t handle and also have my husband be mad abt it. At least rn the room looks bearable. Idkk I’m so conflicted 😭

Also I would appreciate any tips and how’s tos. Like how would you go about this project??

Rant

I am beyond EXHAUSTED. I don’t know if my Hashimotos is to blame but I’m tired of pretending like I’m okay. I got diagnosed in mid 2024 after have my first child. At every appt I tell the dr I’m not really having symptoms. For some reason I diminish how I feel if I’m not feeling it in the moment. I’ve been called lazy by my parents my whole life and ig I’ve believed it but now everything actually feels so hard. I make all these plans and try to be better but when it comes to execution I fail. Everything seems to require so much energy that I don’t have. Even climbing up a flight of stairs feels like a task. I don’t know if I’m just lazy and being sedentary has made me this way or if it’s the hashimotos. I’ve been trying to workout and have started going on 20-30min walks but I still feel so tired all the time. My weight is increasing like crazy even tho I haven’t changed anything, in fact I barely eat. I feel like a horrible parent and person. I feel like I’m failing myself and my kids and I won’t ever accomplish anything in life. I’m always tired and just want to rot in bed. I don’t know where I’m getting. Ig I just want someone to validate my feelings. Am I over reacting? Is this normal? How do I get out of this?

Edit: I don’t know much abt this condition and would appreciate some input. I get my thyroid levels checked occasionally, have a talk with my endo, answer a bunch of questions and she send me on my way. At first I tried following an anti inflammatory diet in hopes to go into remission but got pregnant again and it all felt like too much effort without any results so I gave up.

10m old still not really interested in food

Should I be concerned? I’ve tried BLW since baby turned 6m old but he’s just not interested in food whatsoever. I introduced purées since solids weren’t working and even then some times he’d eat happily and others he won’t open his mouth. He will play with his food but not bring it near his mouth. Also he is ebf. Should I see a feeding therapist? I was also concerned he wasn’t rolling or clawing but turns out he knows how to he’s just lazy. He finally started crawling a couple weeks ago at 9m. So I was a bit relieved but I’m noticing he’s not eating solids well. He eats purées or yogurt when he feels like it but other than that he pushes food away, closes his mouth tightly and turns away. Some days he eats great and other days he only nurses. What am I doing wrong? Plz help.

Edit: oh also he still gags a lot and doesn’t really try to break food down he just tries to swallow it whole.

I am EXHAUSTED

Why is potty training so freaking HARD!? I’ve been trying since February. Some days we make great progress but then soon after we regress. Some days she’s screaming I can do it myself and running off to the potty. Other days she’s peeing everywhere. I am so tired I want to scream and yell and cry. We’ve had 6 accidents today and it’s barely 5pm. I’m ready to quit.

Hellooo. So I’ve been potty training on and off since February. For some context my toddler had been familiar with the potty since about 15m (she is currently 30m) and has never refused to go or been scared of the potty. I also have an ebf baby which is the main reason I’ve been putting it off (I would give up when she’d have too many accidents). This week she ran out of diapers so decided to just fully potty train instead of buying more diapers. When I have her running around commando she will go to the potty all by herself, rather excitedly telling me “I can do it, I can do it” but as soon as I put an undy or loose bottoms on her she starts having accidents. Any tips on what to do? Also how long did your toddler take to fully potty train?
