Drop your favorites below, I’m looking to try a new brand or two thats actually decent. Leaning heavy on grabbing some breakers on my next pickup since ive yet to try them.
I’ll also add I use velo regularly, usually the peppermint but I’ve tried all of their flavors atp.
Firstly, the smell. It’s a very pleasant sweet, creamy and fruity aroma. Honestly in my opinion it smells incredible.
Second, the flavor. It’s pretty light but the smell translates fairly well to the flavor, it’s a sweet, creamy, fruity taste but it is very, very subtle. It’s honestly kinda hard to notice at times, and I really do wish it had some more oomph to it but when it comes down to the taste itself I enjoy it a lot I just wish it had a little more.
Third, pouch feel. This one is honestly one of the dryer Velo pouches I’ve tried. It has very little moisture, pretty much to the point where when you grab a pouch you can’t feel the moisture at all, it’s also a little rougher under the lip and takes a little longer to juice up because of this. Not my favorite of the lineup in that regard, but still a decent pouch that sits well in the place you put it. (I will also add this is a very fresh can so it’s just the formula they use for this flavor)
Fourth, nic hit and absorption speed. Since this one is a little dryer than others like the spearmint variety you will (at least I did) notice a slower overall absorption and what felt like a slower more controlled release over a big nic hit. Which im not as big on.
Lastly, would I buy this flavor again? Honestly probably not unless I got the craving, I like big flavor and soft moist pouches and this doesn’t really hit a lot in those regards. It also doesn’t give me that big satisfying nic hit I love, so all and I’ll probably not be grabbing another tin. I think I’ll stick with the mint/wintergreen lineup as well as a little tropical heat. But if you haven’t tried it you might as well, maybe it’s what you’re looking for : )

Okay, so firstly the smell is a strong lemony vibe with slight hints of orange, it’s actually pretty pleasant to me but I’ve had friends say it reminds them of cleaner lol kinda to be expected though when dealing with any lemon base flavor, but also take it with a grain of salt because depending on your personal preference you might really enjoy the scent like me.
Second, the flavor at first I really wasn’t getting much flavor and still dont get at much flavor as I might with other brands such as velo but the more I use them the more apparent the flavor becomes and it is pleasant. A light clean citrus vibe although a bit weak at times, but this could also be because I’m a heavy mint flavor user. Either way I enjoy it I just wish it had a bit more kick, on that note though the flavor does stay around decently long if you leave the pouch parked in one place in your upper lip and don’t move it a lot if at all.
If you’re constantly playing with it it’ll lose flavor much faster.
Third, pouch size. These are pretty slim, it might not seem like it at first glance but once you throw it in you’ll get what I mean, it feels like almost nothing is there or maybe a moist paper towel thats been folded once or twice lol. So they do move a bit more than I would like but they are extremely easy to conceal if that’s your worry.
Fourth, strength. These seem a bit weaker than what I’m used to and I use 6mg across the board, but from what I gathered online it’s because they are a slimmer pouch meaning less surface area pressed against your blood vessels, and they are also designed to be a slower release typically they release nicotine gradually over a 45 min period.
They are also a moist pouch, and I only say that because that’s my vibe, I can’t stand a dry pouch. I was honestly hoping these would replace velo for me because they’re significantly cheaper but I don’t see it being my new main, more like an occasional treat or something to keep in the stash to fall back on.
All and all I think it’s a decent flavor and pouch, nothing to right home about but definitely a nice little change if you’re looking for one. With that being said though it didn’t blow my socks off at first like I’d hoped and I was a little let down in the beginning but over time it’s grown on me. If you’re looking for a decent citrus give it a shot, maybe it’ll be your jam maybe it won’t but definitely worth a try especially at its price point.
Out of all the nic pouches I’ve tried, I’ve been let down in one way or another, the one brand I consistently go back to is Velo Plus. I mean no other pouches even compare to the flavor, quality, and performance. I think it’s just time I accept thats my brand and leave all these others in the past. The one flavor im not a huge fan of by them is their wintergreen but I’m gonna give alp wintergreen a shot and if it doesn’t compare then im throwing in the white towel.
Just got a new bit of stuff to throw in the stash, ignore the opened velos and Alps, the velos are a can I’ve been working through and the alps were the first of all of them I tried, if I’m being honest the alps are different but not necessarily in a bad way.
The pouch shape itself is different, less flat and more rounded like a lil burrito, so you definitely feel it in your lip a little more. If you’re switching from actual pouches to nic pouches that could be a big plus. The flavor itself doesn’t last as long as Velo but I feel like maybe it has a more intense nic kick in the beginning? I also wish they had a catch lid, and a metal can could be pretty cool as well even though that’s less of a complaint and more just a suggestion or something I would personally prefer lol.
They are definitely good but not all I hyped them up to be in my head. I have some Alp wintergreen too so I’m excited to see how that stacks up against the grizzly nic pouches and velos wintergreen. All and all I’ll buy them again, im definitely looking forward to trying the other flavors but depending on how they are is gonna be the deciding factor on how I feel on the brand as a whole. But the Alp mint is a solid 7-10, could definitely be better and leaves a little to be desired especially if you’re paying full retail price but they aren’t bad either.

What do yall think about having a mini fridge for your stash? I’m mostly into snus and nic pouches and recently have gotten into buying in bulk, im leaning heavily towards getting a mini fridge but don’t know if it’d be worth it or not

They also don’t have to be Swedish I just feel like it’s more prominent over there than in many other places. Also im more into lower level pouches, 6mg is my daily. What are some brands that cater to this? I noticed a lot of foreign brands seem to be very strong due to the heavy snus culture!

I’ve bought a can before but lost it after only using one or two pouches, im thinking about buying a roll though because it’s significantly cheaper than most other brands and they have some flavors im really interested in trying. Specifically Lime + Jalapeño,
Spicy Strawberry, and Spicy Mango. I’m really interested in these flavors because Velo makes a phenomenal Tropical Heat and im trying to find more similar cans. Any feedback would be appreciated!
Tbh this is the best flavor I’ve had in terms of velo, my previous favorite was the wild berry, apart from the typical mints but this blows it all out of the water. There is a big mango flavor up front then a nice subtle heat, but not over bearing heat. Totally recommend if you haven’t given them a try, I know for a long while I was skeptical and didn’t wanna buy something I’d never finish but I’m super glad I grabbed a can today along with my normal pickup. Honestly wish I would have grabbed some more, but I’ll keep that in mind next time!

I’m honestly just curious what the most said number will be, I’m guessing between 2-10 snakes per person with the average being probably 3 mostly because it’s pretty common to keep multiple and I myself have 5 lol.
