New dad here looking for help

Hello fellow dads, new dad here and new to this sub I stumbled upon while googling. Just had my baby a week ago and it's a very surreal experience that I'm still processing.

Mainly worried if I'm doing it right helping my wife, sometimes feel helpless when my baby cries when we've changed his diaper, fed him, and swaddled. Also a bit worried when I have to go back to work in 6 months since I'm getting at least 12 weeks off from work (I'm taking the rest of the time that's unpaid to be with my wife and baby). Just hope I'm being a good dad overall.

Venting here, but also looking to get some sort of reassurance from other exoerienced dads that things get better. Feel vulnerable talking to other acquaintances who are dads since I'm not all that close. Really appreciate any positivity dads can give me since I'm starting off my journey just now. Thank you.

ULPT positive feedback or life pro tips needed

Hope my post is right for this sub as I was recommended here.

For context, Im a homeowner, and my neighbors below are on a yearly lease. Since they have moved in, there have been door slams, loud volumes, and vibrations for TV/ surround sound system that take place right under our bedroom. I approached and spoke to the neighbors about it to where they were indifferent and rather rude. From the couple of times I spoke to them to try and resolve it by communicating, the noise/ nuisance continued with time to eventually under our bedroom, which is their bedroom. From there, I started not only documenting everything, I began making formal complaints to the HOA, making recordings with my phone (not the best quality), and decibel readings from an app on phone.

The emphasis of these neighbors has been that they play loud music and TV after quiet hours disturbing our right to peace and my pregnant wife and my sleep. I already made many complaints in the past 2 months to the HOA. There have been police called as well, which they may not have answered the door. Finally, the landlord of the unit has a hearing with the HOA, and it's possible the tenants or landlord may be fined if it continues.

As a long-time lurker on this sub, I wanted to hear of any experiences that are similar and/ or gone through the same thing. Im also really looking for positive feedback on how to "wait out" these tenants. I'd imagine there are some people that feel like they wanted to give up but hung in there, and disrespectful neighbors either moved or got evicted (which I'd imagine is not likely to happen in my case). I just kind of need to vent but also hope to hear "things will get better, just hold on."

If you've read this far, I hope I make sense, and there are those that "survived" the tension and uncertainty of nuisance neighbors because there's times where I feel, I just don't know.

P.s. moving out is not quite an option since we are having a baby very soon and want to build equity on our place.
