📈 Weekly Secondary Market Analysis (Week 11) May 11th-17th

Hey everyone!

Here’s your Weekly Secondary Market Analysis.

I am currently focusing exclusively on the NA Version of Kayou Naruto. Data is just for reference, feel free to correct me if I'm off
I won't be going into detail on cards under $10(Prices are for raw cards only and exclude shipping costs

ATL: All-Time Low, ATH: All-Time High, LW ASP: Last Week Average Selling Price (May 4th-10th, TW ASP: This Week Average Selling Price (May 11th-17th)

Series 2:

https://preview.redd.it/y290y99w2g2h1.png?width=579&format=png&auto=webp&s=87b678f7a7abbc599ccc2acf44c3a3b198b16174

S2 is lacking trading volume right now, which means it’s time for me to start eyeing the data for ES, I guess.

Series 3:

https://preview.redd.it/r4c5kfu73g2h1.png?width=578&format=png&auto=webp&s=52411f598e14468e4440528f4aa9ddc3ea3c3a4d

S3 prices are starting to normalize, but there's still barely any ASP transaction data... Also, can someone explain why Naruto's MR is so expensive? I probably should stop being lazy and stop lumping Naruto's MR data together with the other MRs..

Anyway, I wasn't really focusing on card data this week because my server just hit 600+ members, and I'm currently prepping a new event..Honestly, I just hope there won't be a massive mountain of data waiting for me next week, lol...

Obsessed with Naruto blind boxes

I’ve been collecting Naruto blind boxes for a while now, and I wanted to share my thoughts on a few series. Hope there are some fellow fans out there who vibe with these
Pic 1: This was Pop Mart’s first attempt. To be honest, it feels a bit dated now. The plastic texture is quite noticeable, and the head sculpts are relatively coarse. The accessories are the biggest letdown—the QC isn't great, and pieces tend to fall off easily. It’s a classic, but definitely shows its age

Pic 2: This series is all about those "Aww" moments! I love how some characters actually interact with each other. The designs are super cute, though the scroll accessories are strangely hard to fix in place. My personal favorite is Sasuke clutching his rice ball—it's precious! Overall, it leans heavily into the "kawaii" aesthetic and nostalgia, which might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s definitely charming

Pic 3: The Akatsuki assembled! The art style perfectly captures that dark, edgy Akatsuki vibe. The VFX are impressive, and the head sculpts are a massive leap forward compared to the first gen. This is currently my absolute favorite Pop Mart series. The effects stay true to the manga style, and the detailed bases give the figures a lot of dynamic energy.

Pic 4: Funism is my current obsession! Their Chibi-style proportions and dynamic poses are spot on. The rich effect parts and "skill-casting" poses, along with some swappable parts, are huge bonus points. Plus, Funism figures are significantly larger—nearly 1.5x the size of Pop Mart (see Pic 5). They have a nice weight in your hand and are much easier to photograph beautifully.

I honestly love the thrill of the "blind pull" and the accessible price point. While the craftsmanship might not rival high-end, expensive statues, the steady stream of joy they bring is unmatched. There’s nothing like the serotonin boost of unboxing your favorite ninja.

📈 Weekly Secondary Market Analysis (Week 10) May 4th-10th

Hey everyone!

I’m starting to get a weird feeling about the price fluctuations for Series 3. There are zero actual sales records for ASP right now, yet the prices are all $5000 and up... Is this even realistic?

Here’s your Weekly Secondary Market Analysis.

I am currently focusing exclusively on the NA Version of Kayou Naruto. Data is just for reference, feel free to correct me if I'm off
I won't be going into detail on cards under $10(Prices are for raw cards only and exclude shipping costs

ATL: All-Time Low, ATH: All-Time High, LW ASP: Last Week Average Selling Price (Apr 27th-May 3rd), TW ASP: This Week Average Selling Price (May 4th-10th)

Series 2:

https://preview.redd.it/drcti1k0o21h1.png?width=576&format=png&auto=webp&s=644a7675501ab7e154dd9246f5cc9612f377ecb0

The hype for S2 is continuing to drop, and everyone's attention has shifted over to Earth Scroll and S3

Series 3:

https://preview.redd.it/mxevqbcyp21h1.png?width=578&format=png&auto=webp&s=5debf5fcc6c908cd531ade3ee22ff4caa4835dd3

I have no idea why MR Naruto's price suddenly skyrocketed into the triple digits. Meanwhile, the latest transaction prices for SE Gaara and Shikamaru's are sitting around $1000-$1100

Good luck to everyone again! If there isn't much data for S2 next week, I might start looking into tracking the data for Earth Scroll

UNBELIEVABLE LUCK! 😱 The same girl who pulled the SP Tanjiro just pulled a SECOND SP! She finally opened the box she bought for her kid and hit the SP Giyu Tomioka!? That’s even hotter than Tanjiro! Her luck is literally GOD-TIER!!

Kayou’s upcoming Demon Slayer set doesn't have the insane rarity bloat like Naruto or MLP yet. This series has massive potential. Series 1 will be the easiest to Master Set and definitely the 'One That Started It All' for every collector!

📈 Weekly Secondary Market Analysis (Week 9) Apr 27th-May 3rd

Hey everyone!

How are everyone’s Series 3 pulls? I’ve already seen three fans in my server pull /9s! I know many are already ripping Earth Scroll 1 as well. Once our stock reaches, I’ll start tracking the secondary market trends for ES

S2 is pretty quiet right now. Even though it's OOP, there's still plenty of stock on the market. It seems like everyone’s focus has shifted toward Series 3 and Earth Scroll.

Series 3:

https://preview.redd.it/iqd4lh8zwozg1.png?width=576&format=png&auto=webp&s=32d5d3c28b7c3cbf9950eee6f01e7d6d462d2987

The latest sale for BP Tsunade is around $200. Trading volume for both BP and ◇UR are moving really well lately. The most recent SE Gaara sold for $1,000.
There are no recorded sales for ASP and ◇ASP just yet. Most people are either getting them graded or are just holding out to see where the market goes. If anyone else has pulled a ◇ASP, feel free to drop a photo in the comments

This post was primarily written by MarkX (Mango Bango), a veteran fan in our server. Huge thanks to him for everything he’s done! Also, some additional content was contributed by other senior members of the server, and I’ll be sure to credit them by name.

Purpose: This guide explains how to evaluate trading cards for grading with a focus on consistency, condition, and profitability. This guide applies to all TCG and CCG alike using the grading requirements between multiple companies.

Grading Basics: Professional grading evaluates a card based on four key areas:

  • Centering
  • Corners
  • Edges
  • Surface

These factors determine the final grade on a scale from 1 to 10. A PSA 10 represents a near-flawless card. Even small defects can reduce a card to a PSA 9 or lower.

Centering: Centering refers to how evenly the borders are printed on the front and back of the card. Keep in mind, some Kayou cards do not have borders to measure centering. Front Centering should generally fall within 55-45 range. Back centering allows up to a 60-40 range. If the card appears off-center to the eye, it will not achieve a top grade. You do not need to purchase any fancy tools or software to check the centering.

Corners: Corners must be sharp and clean Look for whitening or fraying Any visible wear usually prevents a PSA 10 Even minor imperfections can drop the grade

Edges: Edges should be smooth and free of damage Check for white spots, chipping, and or warping Inspect all sides carefully under good lighting

Surface: Surface condition is critical and often overlooked. Check for scratches, dents, print lines, or smudges. Tilt the card under the light to reveal hidden flaws. Do NOT use water or any form of liquid to try to clean the surface of the card, as that will introduce moisture or other factors. Use a soft microfiber cloth to clean both sides of the surface gently.

Pre-Grading Checklist: Use this process before submitting any card

  • Step 1: Inspect centering visually and confirm that it meets the acceptable ratios
  • Step 2: Check corners and edges for whitening or wear
  • Step 3: Use a bright directional light to scan for surface damage
  • Step 4: Recheck the card multiple times without bias
  • Step 5: Clean light dust using a microfiber cloth if needed Cards that fail any of these steps are unlikely to receive a PSA 10

Submission Preparation: Proper handling and packaging matter Always place cards in a penny sleeve and a semi-rigid holder Avoid storing cards in binders with rings or in loose storage, as this can cause damage. Keep cards away from moisture, heat, and direct light.

What to grade? Not every card should be graded; however, if it's for personal use, grade whatever you like, as your collection is meaningful to you.

Kayou Naruto VS Pokemon: Pokémon cards have an established grading market and consistent demand. Kayou Naruto cards can still grade very well due to their great quality control, but the overall value depends more on rarity, artwork, and collectors' interest. Focus on high-rarity Naruto cards, such as SP, BP, AR, or serialized class hits.

Final Notes: Grading is a risk-based process Most cards will not achieve a PSA 10 Small flaws that are difficult to see will still impact the grade Always evaluate objectively and avoid emotional bias when choosing cards to submit; however, if a card is important to you, then the grade will not matter.

Q&A:

Q1: Is the TAG submission kit truly worth it?

-Answer by AMbition- The main benefit your getting with the TAG submission kit is the 1k insurance protection and ease of use, if you were to ship it by yourself without the tag kit, it would be around 7 dollars for a label for 3-5 days or 14 for a 2 day priority plus around 5-10 dollars of insurance incase something bad happenes. So thats about 15-20 dollars on shipping fees if your trying to be extra careful. The kit comes in at 50 dollars . so you gotta think if you can justify the extra 30 dollar dollars on protection, this is the sleeves it comes with the rigid it comes with the foam padding.

If your grading a large amount of cards or a really expensive card I think its worth it , if your not than I say save the money

-Answer by Ruru- The kit does have the practical use of not requiring the sender to have their own packaging which may or may not adequete. Otherwise it's mostly novelty

Q2: So who is everyone using to grade their Kayou English cards?

-Answer by Mango- It depends on your end goal.

  • For Personal Collection (PC): Go with TAG. Their slabs are often considered more aesthetically pleasing.
  • For Selling: Go with PSA. They are the industry standard for market value.

Q3: What if I want to sell duplicate cards but keep the rest for my PC?

-Answer by Mango- For duplicates you intend to flip immediately, PSA is the safest bet to maximize profit. While you can sell TAG-graded cards, the market for them is currently smaller and less predictable since there aren't as many listings to compare.

Q4: Is TAG a good option if I want to keep cards for my PC now, but might sell them later?

-Answer by Mango & Artbypt-

This is the "constant struggle" for many collectors.

  • The Value Gap: Currently, PSA has a stranglehold on market value. For example, if a PSA 10 sells for $200, a TAG 10 might only fetch $150.
  • The Future: While TAG might become more popular and valuable over time, nobody can predict that for sure right now.
  • The Trade-off: You have to decide if you value the aesthetic of the slab (TAG) more than the potential resale value (PSA).

Q5: What is the best way to grow the market for these cards?

-Answer by Mango- If you want to help gauge and grow the market, send them to PSA and auction them off. This provides clear data points for the community.

Q6: Any recommendations for good grading tools?

https://preview.redd.it/jko8e6va3hzg1.png?width=548&format=png&auto=webp&s=e06487adf074fdd047bd512c15f2ce37dc148e6b

-Answer by Ruru-
I would recommend a blacklight to check for surface issues that you literally can't see. It can also be shined on slabs for authenticity, and it makes whitening issues glaringly clear as well on cards.

For reference, I blacklighted this Mewtwo in its slab and that 9.5 Surface grade isn't fake, it really did have a weird invisible smudge on the top side of the card. 100% the reason it got that grade. I broke open the slab (can explain that process too, it's very important for regrading), took a cloth and cleaned it out and it actually WAS removable! So that was potentially something that could've ruined a grade actually straight up gone. Then we pack it up again and sent it to PSA (they're much less strict and now that I know centering was a problem, it should be good with perfection in the other 3 categories) and that's how I got my 10.

Feel free to keep the questions coming in the comments! I’ll have the experts from our server weigh in with their advice, or we can just open it up for a general discussion.

Hey everyone!
Starting from now, we will no longer be tracking Series 1. We look forward to seeing more trading data from the upcoming new series

ATL:All-Time Low, ATH:All-Time High, LW ASP: Last Week Average Selling Price (Apr 13th-19th), TW ASP: This Week Average Selling Price (Apr 20th-26th)

Series 2:

Series 2 has seen a surge in trading volume lately. Many fans are trying to rip more boxes themselves to chase /99 PR or trading for hits to complete their master sets. After all, compared to Series 3, completing a master set for Series 2 feels much more achievable.

Series 3:

https://preview.redd.it/i8iewko7vayg1.png?width=552&format=png&auto=webp&s=846527d995691f812fdce776980f6c7ccdb64c87

Trading volume for Series 3 remains thin this week, and prices are still hovering on the high side—I'm expecting them to dip later on. I saw an ASP Kimimaro listed at $5,940; I wonder if that’ll actually find a buyer or not.

https://preview.redd.it/mj3ix9j0wayg1.jpg?width=1536&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bd960be14c4cbe10acda2997ec67efa7cddf2717

Check out this insane pull from one of our server members! They hadn't even seen Naruto before hitting this Diamond ASP Shikamaru(6/9). We basically forced their friend to bring them here so we could all share the "blessing" (and be salty together).

Interestingly, they almost let it go for just $1,000 right away, but their friend stopped them. Now this card is at grading.

If you're just starting your Kayou Naruto journey, joining a knowledgeable group or doing some research is a must!

The new Skullpanda 'The Four Acts of Flower' series just dropped in China today! I managed to get a proxy to buy and unbox them for me immediately. Honestly, Skullpanda never misses—these are absolutely stunning!

Which one are you guys eyeing?

Hey everyone!

The arrival of Series 3 has been delayed across the board, yet some fans have already managed to get their hands on the cards. The overall data we have isn't very extensive yet. I hope everyone receives their boxes asap... I'm also considering whether to drop the data tracking for Series 1 to lighten my workload a bit.

ATL:All-Time Low, ATH:All-Time High, LW ASP: Last Week Average Selling Price (Apr 6th-12th), TW ASP: This Week Average Selling Price (Apr 13th-19th)

Series 1:

https://preview.redd.it/o9biqvj5kwwg1.png?width=546&format=png&auto=webp&s=bcb163272abde2e1a89cf0a52d73dede0b96aa2c

Trading volume for Series 1 has generally seen a decline this week

Series 2:

https://preview.redd.it/e5k5jc7ekwwg1.png?width=549&format=png&auto=webp&s=1c727bdf0c35ce500d6fb79836610bf2da719510

Series 2 stayed relatively stable this week with no major fluctuations—mostly holding steady or seeing slight upticks. Interestingly, while serialized PRs generally seem to be trending down, we saw both the all-time high and all-time low for /999 cards in the same week.

I'm convinced that the specific serial number is the primary factor driving the price. For instance, PR #009/999 sold for a record $3,100, while #773/999 went for only $930

Series 3:

https://preview.redd.it/ifli0wq8lwwg1.png?width=552&format=png&auto=webp&s=358b6fb9070e1b10527e0b7330318b70e1da0f80

Currently, secondary market data for Series 3 singles is still limited, but the numbers we do see are wild.

For MRs, Gaara currently holds the highest realized price, while Sasuke is the most frequently traded.

On the BP front, things are even more intense. We've seen a PSA 10 Sasuke BP go for $510, while a PSA 10 Itachi BP hit a staggering $1,600. Most recently, a raw Jiraiya BP sold for $1,000 this week. These prices are absolutely terrifying right now

https://preview.redd.it/dehydd9blwwg1.png?width=546&format=png&auto=webp&s=5e1ebfd3e0310a7a2bf688e15e12705a78042662

◇URs have seen a relatively high trading volume. I actually saw a full set of 11 types going for $200—I'm so gutted I didn't see it sooner...

That’s all for now. The increase in serialized cards and the cancellation of the SEA version have definitely made Series 3 more controversial, but it's also making the market prices much more volatile under the surface. I hope everyone stays rational and buys within their means.

Oh, by the way, I just noticed our server is already approaching the 500-member mark! It looks like it’s almost time for another giveaway or some other fun community event.

Honestly, I’m a bit stunned—our 300-member "free case" event still has over a week left before we pick a winner. I definitely didn't expect us to hit a new milestone this quickly!

Does anyone have suggestions for what we should do for 500? I’d love to hear some fresh ideas!

Hi everyone!
I’m sure many of you following Kayou have already seen the buzz across various channels about the recently released Kayou-Demon Slayer: Edition Infinity Castle-Series 1 (Chinese version). Its launch perfectly coincided with the massive hype surrounding the Demon Slayer movie in China.

https://preview.redd.it/mii21hsw2qwg1.png?width=795&format=png&auto=webp&s=5ca75ccafaf600a76c621517427dc5e92edc4db7

For those new to the IP: Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba) follows Tanjiro Kamado, whose life is shattered by the demon progenitor, Muzan Kibutsuji. To save his sister Nezuko—who was turned into a demon—Tanjiro embarks on a journey to become a master swordsman. It’s a story filled with unforgettable characters and a perfect blend of fantasy, humor, and heart-wrenching moments.

https://preview.redd.it/l6cjen733qwg1.png?width=333&format=png&auto=webp&s=1fcf5526d573f4f9e4b8dc051c7e4616f9d09ea2

The original manga by Koyoharu Gotouge (affectionately known as "Crocodile Sensei") is celebrated for its emotional depth. While some critics point out that the original art/linework isn't always "top-tier" in terms of action choreography, Ufotable (the animation studio) completely transformed the series. They turned the manga’s perceived shortcomings into strengths through breathtaking animation, god-tier soundtracks, and incredible cinematography/pacing. The way they handle camera work and frame-by-frame transitions is something rarely discussed but is truly the secret sauce that made this a global phenomenon.

https://preview.redd.it/g95bogra3qwg1.png?width=228&format=png&auto=webp&s=2af70c18f303a2f8fade2e7d12fe9186f6a3322f

https://preview.redd.it/qs2oo1u54qwg1.png?width=450&format=png&auto=webp&s=cf59eba06c19ac883e34e7139afcfb08fa4e35f0

So, for Kayou—who prefers using anime visuals for their cards—this is may an advantage at this time.

The Infinity Castle Arc featured in these Kayou cards is the final, most epic stage of the story. If these cards (or the anime in general) have piqued your interest, I highly recommend watching the series from the very beginning. Even if you've read the manga, seeing Ufotable’s execution in the anime and movies is an experience you shouldn't miss.

https://preview.redd.it/w0z693jr4qwg1.jpg?width=1706&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b81add9e892fc48619fa9d477ccae1e753599291

Specification of the CN version: Each box contains 10 packs, with 3 cards per pack. Every pack is guaranteed to have one "thick card" (high rarity). Based on my experience, here is the rarity hierarchy (lowest to highest):
BR (20 types) < KR (14 types) < GR (5 types) < Diamond GR (3 types) < BP (4 types) < SP (4 types)

I managed to get my hands on 2 boxes through a friend. Here’s what I found:
-GR and KR are very common—expect one per pack.
-Diamond GR isn't actually that rare in terms of pull rates.
-KR features the Humans, GR features the Demons, and Diamond GR features the three "Demons on the Human Side" (Nezuko, Tamayo, and Yushiro).
-BP and SP are the true chases with extremely low hit rates. BP cards are vibrant full-color illustrations of the main four characters(Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu AND My boy Inosuke), while SP cards are the beautiful line-art versions of those same four characters.

https://preview.redd.it/b5rhjukm5qwg1.png?width=1167&format=png&auto=webp&s=67001160b329cfc594186547bd4ca62dbe98c892

(A girl I know got her cards before me and pulled an SP Tanjiro in just 2 boxes. She made me believe SPs weren't that rare... until I opened my own boxes and realized she just has insane luck..)

https://preview.redd.it/x1pldumn5qwg1.jpg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=09e30da5fe6ed863e6daf7c913458c92f541658d

Based on what we know, the English version is expected to keep the same configuration of 3 cards per pack with a guaranteed "thick card." However, the total pack count per box will likely be higher.

Following Kayou’s usual patterns, there’s a strong possibility we might see exclusive PR cards specifically for the English version. Here is 2 photos of the Chinese version’s PR cards (2 types), they are absolutely stunning(I won't say much to avoid spoilers, but the story behind these two PR cards is truly touching)

https://preview.redd.it/1thvx73b6qwg1.jpg?width=742&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ea26679ae7d1ebc22b7b8f8fee081901188299f2

https://preview.redd.it/3yyks0yb6qwg1.jpg?width=946&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6b53296c078785be7227cef58bc49ee0abec85fd

Based on the "Series 1" label on the packaging, it’s highly likely that Kayou has a long-term roadmap for this IP. We can expect future releases to follow the pace of the movies

For instance, Series 1 perfectly aligns with the current movie arc—"Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle - The Return of Akaza." You can clearly see this from the box art, as well as the specific characters and scenes featured in the card list. It seems Kayou is strategically timing these drops to match the cinematic hype

https://preview.redd.it/gqlfqevo6qwg1.jpg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e5b9126a2220a3b06daaf01e7d35fa8fbb8a7232

And by the demand from one of my Naruto server members, I have to share this joke here again:
"Do you know who Inosuke’s real birth parents are? It’s Ino and Sasuke..." (Okay, okay, I know it’s a terrible dad joke... lol)

https://preview.redd.it/01lvzk7r6qwg1.jpg?width=1638&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=aa9d2e82041a6c196aad719cbc6a73e1e6d6e84c

Regarding further details on the English version of Kayou Demon Slayer, I plan to write a more comprehensive breakdown closer to the official launch. By then, I should have more confirmed and accurate information to share with everyone.

Oh, and for those who don’t know me yet, a quick intro: I own and operate a Kayou Naruto Discord server with about 500 members, and I also co-manage a Kayou MLP (My Little Pony) server of over 300 members. I’m also a moderator for several Kayou-related subreddits. My partner is an Official Distributor for Kayou, so you can feel confident in the info I share and the products purchased through my partner's shop.

If you’re interested in Kayou Demon Slayer/Naruto/MLP, or any other Kayou products, feel free to follow me or join my server. That’s where I drop the latest updates and exclusive coupons.

Kayou’s Demon Slayer collection is officially out in China and will be hitting the US market very soon! I’m so hyped!!

I couldn't wait and already ripped into a Chinese box—check out my pulls! Are you Team Human or Team Demon? (I’m definitely choosing Mitsuri!

I've been into Pop Mart for almost 5 years now! My absolute favorites are Dimoo and SP, followed by Hirono and Labubu! This hobby has literally drained all my pocket money... I'm planning to quit — I can't keep chasing every new series anymore.

BUT! I've recently gotten super into doll clothes and customizing figures — it's totally reignited my passion for the hobby! Let me see your unique collections too, especially your doll outfits and custom figures!

Hey everyone!

Everyone should be receiving their Series 3 pre-orders next week, though I have to say Kayou's logistics are really something else. Plenty of people from the live streams and card shows are already flexing their big hits, but I have yet to see anyone pull an English ASP or Diamond ASP. If you have one, please send it my way and let me have a look.

ATL:All-Time Low, ATH:All-Time High, LW ASP: Last Week Average Selling Price (Mar 30th-Apr 5th), TW ASP: This Week Average Selling Price (Apr 6th-12th)

Series 1:

https://preview.redd.it/48lbjdkzfivg1.png?width=546&format=png&auto=webp&s=d348e00a8b92f84cb72844b61f7465b25fb3f84f

Most Series 1 trades are focused on SPs right now, and the overall market prices have taken a massive dive. A lot of collectors have completed their master sets or are simply giving up on Series 1.

Series 2:

https://preview.redd.it/rmaitvbigivg1.png?width=546&format=png&auto=webp&s=cdf273d439b9113414f446d15800558ae9ec41b1

Overall prices for Series 2 are dropping, yet SP cards are going up, and Naruto's SP even reached an ATH. Both Series 1 and 2 SPs saw growth this week, likely because Series 3 swapped the stained glass style for ASPs, while many collectors still prefer the old style.

We should have more data on Series 3 starting next week, so let's be patient for one more week. There is not much data on eBay yet, but we can already see that prices are relatively high right now. Fans who truly want to collect should avoid impulsive buying and stay patient for a little longer.

Hey everyone!

Sorry for the one-day delay on this post—I caught a cold over the past couple of days. Please take care of yourselves as the seasons change

ATL:All-Time Low, ATH:All-Time High, LW ASP: Last Week Average Selling Price (Mar 23rd-29th), TW ASP: This Week Average Selling Price (Mar 30th-Apr 5th)

Series 1:

https://preview.redd.it/rw4c4zud0cug1.png?width=768&format=png&auto=webp&s=b45d254a85c40d10e883da89baa89b2714163cea

Rs has low trading volume, so it’s not a very strong market indicator. Overall, BPs shows a slight upward trend.

https://preview.redd.it/ha049a4p0cug1.png?width=771&format=png&auto=webp&s=c83df3f9b771bc88cef9f9a17334c48701e12008

SPs total trading volume is low, but prices are generally on the rise. SEs volume is also quite thin.

Series 2:

https://preview.redd.it/b6vxf54b1cug1.png?width=771&format=png&auto=webp&s=9fc30ae3d59dd539d7433e0fe3b4cf3b19cc2ac9

MRs trading data is looking pretty grim, while BPs prices are seeing a general slight increase. Based on our back-end orders, Series 2 sales are also picking up—likely due to the recent OOP status. (Note: There was a typo in last week’s BP Hinata data, please refer to this week’s numbers as the correct ones)

https://preview.redd.it/uo1585a22cug1.png?width=768&format=png&auto=webp&s=f091c19635f4e7b9de4b3338d0e63465bd7afe02

SPs are seeing a general slight increase, while ARs prices haven't fluctuated much, though they are trending slightly downwards in most cases.
Naruto-NRSA02-AR-003 looks like it's pumping right now, but I expect a pullback later this week.

Naruto-NRSA02-AR-009 prices are expected to see a recovery this week

https://preview.redd.it/296whn8c3cug1.png?width=771&format=png&auto=webp&s=e5fb67ddbcff33280f475daa7b91ce9a91cee881

Prices for regular PRs are holding steady. On the other hand, /999 raw copies are beginning to drop a bit. As for the /99s, there’s still a lack of sales data—probably because they're so pricey. I know some folks are talking deals in the DMs, but nothing is confirmed yet.

We’re seeing some early trading data for Series 3, but the actual volume is still low. This is partly because many online retailers haven't received their stock yet, and partly because collectors are still in the 'wait-and-see' phase or busy enjoying their own pulls.

Looking forward to seeing if more secondary market intel for Series 3 emerges next week.

Hey everyone!

Continuing from before, this post will analyze the Earth Scroll - Series 2.

Similar to other series with existing Chinese versions, the US release goes beyond translation by adding exclusive PR and ◇UR cards. A quick note for those new to Earth Scroll: this series has a simplified raritys and no serialized cards, so it's much more collector-friendly.
132 types of cards, divided into 8 rarities. The set covers key events starting from the search for Tsunade to the Sasuke Retrieval Mission. It features more cards of Akatsuki members and the Legendary Sannin.

The specs are slightly different: 7 cards per pack, 20 packs/box, and 24 boxes/case.

Rarity:

CR(Creative Rare)-AR(Amber Rare)-MR(Miracle Rare)-◇UR(Parallel Ultra Rare)-UR(Ultra Rare)-SSR(Super Secret Rare)-SR(Super Rare)-R(Rare)
PR(Promos)

The style is quite similar to ES-Series 1. Looking at the timeline, the ASP and Diamond UR cards in Series 3 seem to have been influenced by the design of these SSR cards

There isn't much of a design difference compared to other URs

A new US-exclusive Kakashi card has been added, emphasizing a Pop Art style that shares a similar aesthetic with the ◇UR cards from Series 3

The theme is still Tarot. But hey, look at Itachi and Kabuto—and especially Tsunade. How can you not be tempted, right

AR-10 types

The art style isn't too different from the ES-Series 1, still Ukiyo-e style.

https://preview.redd.it/m5f6guptz9ug1.png?width=897&format=png&auto=webp&s=196281f26a5fe84bbc4630c6f7c89094a2439044

CR-4 types

The CR theme is "Fantasy Scroll of the Ninjas", same as the ES-Series 1. I’m going to be so jealous of whoever pulls the CR Tsunade or Itachi, for real.

https://preview.redd.it/kow2w7uuz9ug1.png?width=906&format=png&auto=webp&s=8ae1a0fd08ae2117c1ea1117494793cae1cc804e

Overall, I still believe the Earth Scroll series has great collectible value. It’s cost-effective and makes the joy of collecting cards much more accessible. Even though numbered cards are becoming more common these days, I truly believe that a beautiful card will always be loved, even without a serial number.

Good Luck!
