What is the best stopover routing you pulled off?

I got LAX-SYD-SIN-KUL-NRT(via BKK)-YYZ(via YVR) on UA, SQ, SQ, TG, and AC respectively, for 257.5K pts + $465CAD, all J cabin. The cash price would have been $17,869CAD, and I averaged 6.69cpp net of the taxes/fees. This was 50 hours and 18 minutes in business class, making a big circle around the Pacific Ocean.

I started in Toronto, but did YYZ-PDX-LAX economy in cash. Got to check out PNW, SoCal, Australia, Singapore+Malaysia, Japan (Sapporo only, just paid cash fare on a budget airline), and came back to Canada on AC. This was Summer 2025.

Anyone else pull off some epic trips?

Filter out ridiculous "3% in business class"-type search results

Makes the search process impossible. Is there a way to efficiently search for sensical J routing?

Things like PVG-YYZ-YUL, where PVG-YYZ is in economy is a waste of my time to read.

Does anyone here know (or is) a Marriott Vacation Club salesperson?

I did one of these presentations a few months ago. I of course had no intention to buy, but was intrigued by the whole thing. He had some crazy stats, e.g., "2 out of 3 invitees end up buying", and I'm curious to know what the salespeoples' actual experience is like. What are the success rates? What is the commission like, and what does the training entail? How cutthroat is the job?

Also found it funny that he kept mentioning Mr Marriott by name, showing his headshot in a binder and about "trusting" the Marriott brand, when MVC and Marriott are two distinct companies, and MVC just pays Marriott for the name... (I didn't bring this up)

Also found it silly that about half of the 90 minutes was spent getting to know me, then the last half was about the product itself.

Can check-in agent change name on ticket

Hey, I realize I'm a dummy for doing this... please help me!!!

Booked a WJ ticket on those 3rd party Google Flights sites for next to nothing for YYZ-MCO. Today, tickets are 10x more.

Booked with wife's old last name, which we JUST got the new (US) passport for, with her new last name. At the time of booking, we had no idea when we'd be able to get her US passport, so we booked with the info we had.

WJ on the phone says I must talk to ticket issuer. Ticket issuer (after an hour+ wait) says it'll take a few days, but we fly on Monday (it's Thursday now).

I'm worried that the change won't take effect in time.

Does anyone have experience bringing new+old ID, and marriage certificate with proof of name change, and have the check in agent help out?

The WJ phone agent actually said they can do it at the airport, but I'm worried they will say no once we get there.
