Old PS Vita Won’t Charge after replacing battery

I have a Vita from 2012 that probably hasn’t been used since around 2015. I found it in a box and it wouldn’t turn on so I got a new charger cable. That didn’t work so I bought a new battery to replace the old one. That got it to turn on but it still won’t charge. Could it have a bad charging port, and how hard is it to replace that? Is there any other reasons why it won’t charge?

Looking to Upgrade Laptop, $1300 budget, US

  • Country

United States

  • Budget

$1200-$1500

  • Are you open to refurbs/used options?

Maybe

  • Screen size

Any Size

  • Weight limit

Would prefer something light, but not a priority. My current laptop (Dell G5 5590) is pretty heavy and would prefer it not get heavier than that.

  • Purpose

Gaming, video editing, photo editing, and general use.

  • Form factor

Standard

  • Intended usage

I mainly play older games on PC, but I would like to run the new Gears of War E-Day on at least recommended settings, and play some other newer titles if possible. I will be using adobe products for editing. I currently am on a Dell G5 5590 and it performs well with everything I currently do, I just doubt that it run newer games at a decent frame rate. It doesn't handle multiple tasks going on at once well, and I would like the newer laptop to perform better in general.

  • Desired battery life

No preference, my current laptop I have to keep plugged in. If it can get a couple hours off the charger while not gaming that is a plus.

  • Please list, in order of most important to least important, the priority between Size, Weight, Performance, Battery life

Performance, Weight, Size, Battery life.

  • Info/Requirements

Would like something with a sleek design that is easier to carry around than my current laptop. I have a SSD that I want to add to the new laptop, so I would like an extra slot available. I would like this laptop to last as long as my current laptop which is going on 7 years with no real performance issues.

Thank you guys!

I would like a slots for USB connections and WiFi capability. I live in the US and currently own a Dell G5 15 gaming laptop. I want to play new games (Gears Of War E-Day) at 60 fps with at least medium graphics settings. I also use adobe suites like Premiere and Photoshop that also require a good bit of power.
