As many people do, I was using my airpods while taking a crap on the toilet. My left airpod was a little bit loose and so I attempted to readjust it, but accidentally knocked it out of my ear and it fell in-between my thighs right on top of the turd in the toilet. I grabbed it out of the toilet and it was literally covered with crap, so I rinsed it off in the sink and then thoroughly rubbed it down with 70% rubbing alcohol, and also removed and submerged the tip in rubbing alcohol. I went back and forth between rubbing it down and rinsing it off in the sink in case anything got inside of it. Miraculously, it completely survived this without a hitch and works like nothing even happened to it. Good job Apple!
