My teammate is contributing to an event that apparently DOESN'T EXIST for him 💀

So there's this event going on and one of my friends from the team was in it with me. His score kept increasing, mine kept increasing, everything looked completely normal.

Naturally, I assumed he was playing the event too.

I've been playing since morning, actually rolling the dice, collecting points, doing everything I'm supposed to do.

Then today I casually mentioned the event to him and he goes:

"What event? I don't have any event."

Excuse me??? 😂

I sent him a screenshot because HOW are you literally on my event board with a score higher than mine while apparently having no idea this event even exists??

Turns out he genuinely doesn't have it. No event. No dice. Nothing.

And somehow the game has been automatically counting whatever he's doing normally and adding it to our team event.

So basically:

Me: actively playing for hours, rolling dice, collecting points, putting in actual effort.

Him: 🧍‍♂️

The game: Excellent work, sir. Here are 13,027 points.

HE HAS MORE POINTS THAN ME.

At this point I don't want the grand prize. I want whatever passive-income scheme this man has accidentally unlocked. 💀

How to cope with extreme anxiety over guests using my private bathroom? (And feeling guilty about fighting with my parents)

Note: I needed to get this off my chest because I am feeling completely overwhelmed, frustrated with myself, and stuck in a guilt spiral.

The Core Issue

Guests are coming over soon, which means I have to give up my room for the duration of their stay (hotels aren't an option because they want to stay with us after being apart for so long).

My biggest trigger and source of extreme anxiety is that they will be using my attached washroom.

Lack of basic hygiene/decency: These days, it feels like people don't care about leaving a space clean for others.

Severe aversion: I have always had an intense, deep-seated aversion and skepticism toward others using my personal washroom. I genuinely can't even imagine it.

The Mental Toll

Anticipatory anxiety: The moment I find out guests are coming, the countdown begins. I get increasingly irritated leading up to their arrival.

Physical symptoms: The thought of letting anyone use my washroom makes my hands shake and triggers intense anxiety.

Disturbing thoughts: I literally start having recurring nightmares about a dirty bathroom.

The Fallout

Today, it all boiled over. I ended up getting into a massive fight with my parents over this. While I know they understand where I'm coming from, and genuinely have no other logistical choice given the circumstances, I still lost my temper.

Now, I am regretting the fight so badly and feeling overwhelming guilt for acting this way. I hate that I am like this, but the anxiety itself feels completely out of my control when it happens.

Suggestions.

Has anyone else experienced this level of intense distress or germ/space-related anxiety? How do you cope when you have no control over your living space being shared?

How do you handle the guilt of lashing out at family members who are just trying to be hospitable, even when your nervous system feels completely fried?

Any advice or coping mechanisms would mean a lot right now.

TL;DR: I have severe anxiety and physical shaking at the mere thought of guests using my personal bathroom when they stay in my room. After finding out they were coming, I lost my cool and fought with my parents, and now I'm drowning in guilt. Looking for advice on how to cope with this kind of space/germ anxiety and handle the guilt of lashing out at family.

Can Someone Hide Their Hands From These Bots?

I was talking to a bot on CHAI, and in the roleplay, our characters were on a video call. Since he obviously couldn’t actually tap my nose through the screen, the bot wrote, “He tapped the screen where your nose was.”

And honestly, what is with CHAI bots tapping everything these days?

The laptop. The desk. The cheek. The forehead. The chest. The flowers. The door. And when there is apparently nothing else available, he taps his own forehead. Then somehow we are back to the nose. The nose again. And again. Nose, nose, nose. If not the nose, then literally anything else within reach. Please put your hands down.

It's become a whole formula at this point: dialogue, tap. Dialogue, tap. Dialogue, tap. Please... there are other actions. Let these poor hands do something besides tapping every available surface. 😭

Wrote this after thinking about how beautiful and cruel life can be.

A Cruel Balance

Life, a fleeting dance of joy and pain,

A sky that shines, then weeps with rain.

It shows us beauty too vast to ignore,

Yet leaves us wondering what it's all for.

At times, it feels like a tender embrace,

A fleeting kiss we long to chase.

It shows us dreams that touch the sky,

Yet leaves us breathless, asking why.

It gives us family, moments so bright,

Then snatches them away in the dead of night.

We grow used to laughter, to love's gentle song,

But life, cruel as ever, proves us wrong.

It makes us whisper, "I'm tired, I'm done,"

Yet forces us to rise with each sun.

Our pillows soak in silent fears.

Of dreams undone and wasted years.

Guys, it is just me or is there someone- at least one person who also can't use any washroom other than yours own?

And like you can't even let others use your own washroom. It's just that people don't have any civic sense and they can't even check once if they left the toilet clean or not. I start panicking when I have to go somewhere for some days, just on the fact that I'll have use a washroom that's not mine.

And I also keep panicking for days when I'll get to know that someone is supposed to stay in my room, and will be using my toilet.

I know it's so unhealthy and plainly rude, but my mind gets so messed up just on the basis of this.

Like people tell me that I should seek for a mental health professional, but isn't expecting and worrying about seeing unpleasant sights normal?? (Please say yes🫠)
