Just Upgraded from a Diedrich IR-5 to an IR-12 any advice?

As the title says I’ve gone up a size in the Diedrich roasting. So far I’m like it, although it’s not as touchy and seems to have a slightly lower batch size to get what I want than I was looking for. Mainly I’m wondering if there are any tricks with roasting on the machine and or advice you guys have for moving to a bigger machine. I’ve been solo roasting for my family coffee shop for about 5 years now.

Moved here a little while ago from SLC. After getting out a bad relationship I realized I need more friends up here

Actually moved here around February. But don’t know too many people up here. I’m a local coffee shop co-owner 29m.

Really just looking for people to hangout with. Love outdoorsy stuff like hiking and rock climbing. But am very nerdy as well. I play Magic the gathering a ton. Play a good amount of video games and love my nerdy shows and movies. Truly I would just really like some company up here. Co-workers and family only goes so far ya know?

On a side note, I’m fairly introverted and like I said, just got out of a pretty bad relationship a month or so ago. So uh… yeah very single if there are any women that may be interested lmk haha

Been roasting on an IR-5 for 5 years (self taught) upgrading to a IR-12 any advice?

Been roasting for my families coffee shop for 5 years now but I’m unsure how different the upgrade in size is going to be going from the 5 kg to the 12 kg. Has anyone noticed major differences in the process? I’ve only ever roasted on the one machine. I’m mainly wondering about heat transfer and how different the ROR will be with a bigger machine.

The classic question. What is the best and most budget friendly way to get Injection?

I’ve been doing ketamine therapy with a private business for about 2 years now. Intravenous, music, blindfold, the whole shebang. It’s been good, but I decided to move to the local universities new treatments. I’ve done it once and it’s just so expensive to get the drug itself (I’m paying about 500$ which is roughly a quarter of my monthly and half of my non-rent money) so it’s not ideal. I have Molina Medicaid if that helps. But it only covers the rest of the treatments costs. It’s not sustainable right now. But I will say I’ve been going longer and longer without it (it’s been about 4 months now) and although I’m in a good spot generally. My TR depression has been flaring up again and I can confidently say ketamine therapy has saved my life and is something that helps significantly when done well, at the right doses and under moderation. Meaning… well yeah I need to be able to afford it. Any ideas?
