I’m not a massive fan of the new Vanguard vets posing, so I felt like kit bashing them with some pieces from the blade guard vets boxset to give them some more dynamic poses.

Super keen to get these guys painted up now!

Looking for some help on how to paint the new Vanguard vets.

I’m familiar with the different wings that come with playing Dark Angels but I haven’t seen anything confirming whether the vanguard vets are the standard green theme, death wing or the raven wing?

I’ve seen most sternguard vets are in the green colour scheme with white robes, but blade guard are painted in the death wing scheme. Would this put the Vanguard vets to be painted in the raven wing scheme as they’re technically “fast attack” units?

I know we’re always told to paint our mini’s however we like but I’d like there to be some sort of lore accuracy in my DA army I plan to paint up soon 😁

Moving house very soon but managed to make a fair bit of progress on my Repulsor Executioner for my BT army this weekend. Still PLENTY of work to go but I’m happy with how it’s looking.

I do however want to take like at least a year off from edge highlighting at this point haha

Decided to work on my first tank for my rusty BT army. Still PLENTY more work to go on it like Metallics and a wash here and there but this is how far I’ve gotten tonight. Really happy with how it’s come along as I was super nervous to start working on such a large model.

I normally paint Black Templars as that’s the chapter I play but recently felt the urge to try something different and decided it was time to do a Dark Angel model.
