So of course the one toothpaste I’ve been using for the past decade, sensodyne full protection, was recently discontinued. Since I’ve been trying to find a good replacement but haven’t had any luck. I tried sensodynes “cavity+sensitivity” which I guess is supposed to be the replacement but man it’s nasty shit. So im on the hunt still. I have fine teeth and take very good care of them- to a borderline obsessive extent. However, i have sensitive gums, always have. They are also prone to bleeding despite taking paramount care of them. Ive inquired with my dentist about it numerous times basically said nothing is wrong some people just have sensitive gums.

I usually use the potassium nitrate which was also in the full protection. I used stannous fluoride for a while before in the past and it made my teeth *worse* with sensitivity. I know it’s supposedly good for sensitivity but for some reason it made my teeth significantly more sensitive to a debilitating degree. So I stopped using it and switched to potassium nitrate and my teeth got much better again. Unfortunately almost everything has stannous fluoride now…especially anything for sensitivity and now with the full protection gone I’m at a loss and having trouble finding a good toothpaste. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated! Thanks !
