Finally started playing Cruelty Squad and suddenly need to look up videos on how the organ stock markets work. I love steam boomer shooters

Fun Glowy Bowls

Thanks to local fb marketplace I now have 2 hamilton beach bowls. The yellow is brighter from what I assume is higher uranium content but only visible in pics. Did they make a jadeite quart bowl too so I can complete my collection

Pretty but Poison

Finally found a victorian arsenic book after looking forever. It'll be living in a plastic bag for the poison in it but it is such a beautiful green color.

Pretty but Poison

Finally found a victorian arsenic book after looking forever. It'll be living in a plastic bag for the poison in it but it is such a beautiful green color. I'm a little wary on starting a new collection of these. Not only for the danger but victorian books in this color always seem to be super overpriced. But if I stumble on some more that are in a good price range maybe.

UG Marble Sadness

Every time I go into a junk shop and see those jars of marbles with some glowers inside I always get sad because I so want to start collecting those too but to pay like 80$ a jar for only a few always puts me off.

Antique Books

Was getting interested in antique victorian books and was wondering if there was anywhere in town that might have a lot of them for sale?

Glowy Face

Wow someone pointed out my giant jax plushs face glows in the dark and I happen to collect uranium glass and have uv lights and omg I love this plush even more now.

Absolute Unit

Went looking for a second jax plush and found one on the gamestop website advertised as 15in tall. "Oh another smaller one to sit next to the one I already have" I thought. Bought it and it gets here and turns out to be 30in long and 10in wide. Huge. Was not ready for it but very huggable

Plate Display Stands

Have a few cake plates and wanted to get some display stands for em but can't find good ones for under 30$ each. I'd like wood but will do metal if they're cheaper. Any good recommendations?

Orb to Ponder

Thought you would all appreciate the wizard glass I got for myself for my birthday. Bcv glass 4in across uranium crystal ball. It's so cool I love it.

Finally Arrived

After ordering it a month ago it finally showed up suddenly on my birthday of all days. BCV glass uranium crystal ball. 4in across and 12in around. Nice and satisfyingly heavy to hold. And the way the uv bounces around inside? Beautiful. Well worth the wait

Why Jax is My Favorite Character

Jax is my favorite character and one of the main reasons I connected so much with the show. I also went through a lot of emotional trauma and ended up with self loathing and depression and the thought I didn't deserve good things and/or "everyone else will just hurt me so I better push them away" so did everything I could minus Jax's cruelty. Walls up and pushing everyone away because being vulnerable always hurt me so much and feeling that way again is something that could never happen again. Terrified of being vulnerable and anyone who tried to connect with me was just trying to manipulate and take advantage of me. So watching the show and seeing Jax I clocked their defense mechanisms for what they were right away and every time they did I saw myself and it made me remember all that pain I went through and what I did and just wanted to reach through the screen and shake them and say stop being a dumbass. At the end the "I don't wanna go" line hit me especially hard. Getting so depressed I did come close to ending it a few times I would have loved nothing more than to be happy and keep going but the pain I felt living was coming close to overriding that desire. Makes me tear up every time I see it and remembering what those lows felt like to me. It all hit me very deeply and felt being seen in media.
