Just got a resin printer, need some help.

I’ve been using a basic adventure 5 flashforge for a while i recent purchased a cheap, small resin printer from Amazon for like 180 (it’s a 6x3x6, I only wanted to print small things) and I have very little clue how to actually work this thing.
I’ve looked up how to resin print and all the directions are different. I know I need to wash the prints and stuff but wow it’s all so confusing.

Free art, learning digital.

Im a traditional artist trying to up my digital skills. I'll draw whatever for you just be prepared for some questionable skills.

Omg so many requests 😭 I’ll try to keep up. If it’s not too much to ask please try labeling your OCs! It will help me get a better balance of all of your guys’ characters at a glance. I intend to keep this up for as long as possible and seeing how full the comments are in under 24hours, I think this would make sense.

Most of all: I really don’t care how “bad” you think you are at art. If you give me an ai reference? Eh, I get it, I’ll still draw it for you (but try to stop using it in the future!) everyone deserves to be included in the community. When I was first starting out, I only really continued when others included me in art trades. Beginners deserve art and they deserve the same recognition and appreciation as other more skilled artists. So don’t be shy or too afraid to show your quote bad art. All art is good.

Can I use an Insignia Active Stylus on my Surface Pro laptop?

I don’t like using my surface stylus because of its flat sides, and it’s hard to draw with. But I love the feel of the insignia stylus.

Artist: me Title: Virgil

Making a stop motion puppet for a short film. I’m saving for a resin printer but until then I’m experimenting with models using my filament printer.

He looks a little funky but I swear it looked better irl

Fellas, is it gay to have hobbies?

Highschool athlete, so I’m surrounded by toxic masculinity a lot. I love drawing/painting and have gotten pretty good at it over the years. I love writing with a passion, so much so that I have my own book in the works. I don’t want to go into detail, that’s for another subreddit. But recently I rediscovered my love of stop motion animation, and I figured why not put the book on hold and make it into a short film? The style of stop motion would be perfect to convey to overall grungy, playful vibes of the characters. So I set forth working on it. It’s expensive but it’s summer and my off season so who cares. I was working on the puppets, which was a lot of 3d modeling, printing, painting, and designing little clothes for them all for the scenes. I was excited and posted the work in progress on my snap and got a bunch of hate from the guys i forgot were included in the story.

Why is it so weird for guys to like art? I genuinely don’t get it. I thought it was pretty cool.

Update: thanks for all the nice comments. I really appreciate it. Just wanted to say that I didn’t mean gay as an insult, and that I actually am a gay/bi guy. That doesn’t excuse using gay in that context but I felt like that could add some context.

I am a closeted athlete (FTM/GAY) on an all men’s team. Ask me anything.

I play lacrosse as a transgender man, I share locker rooms and use male facilities. I’m mostly cis passing aside from my hips and my voice (neither of which are easily changed at this moment). I keep this a secret from everyone aside from my coaches, and two guys who already know and are supportive/don’t care. I don’t plan on telling them anytime soon, in fact I’d prefer to keep it a secret. I’ve taken extreme steps to make sure no one finds out ever.

TLDR: I’m a trans guy and I’m lying to my team about it.

^ Proof. This is a pic of my lacrosse sticks, I can’t share my jersey or identifiable features because that would defeat the purpose of being closeted. We recognize eachothers sticks so I hope to god mine are basic enough that they won’t be able to tell if they come across this post.

Looking for a designer for a puppet!!

I need a designer to model a stop motion animation puppet. Including a few different facial expression plates. I can give more information if someone responds. Budget is around $100-$150 (I know I'm broke), i can go a few dollars over too if need be. This isn't for a tv show or project. It's just for my OC and I thought it'd be neat to have him as a puppet. (I might get some pics of him but I will share credits for who modeled him!!)

EDIT: Upped the budget by $50 (its now 100-150, still flexible though), sorry for having such a low price to begin with. I'm a digital artist so I'm not very familiar with 3D modeling prices! Then again, I am still quite broke so yes, my budget is low. I have gotten a LOT of DMs, and I'm messaging a small handful to talk things over about the specifics to see exactly which artist I'm going for. So if I haven't responded: I'm sorry, there's so many of you. Right now, pricing is my biggest concern :/
