My yearly watch Log n°1
Well, as the title says, I watch this series once an year, and I thought, why not post about the things I found out this time around? Feel free to comment about it, this is just an info dump, so if Im yapping way too much, I apologize... Okay lets go!
-Do Hurley is ageless now, as far as we know, sooooo if he was in the flash sideways, means at some point he died... Its fun to think about that in theory he could have overlived everyone there by thousands of years.
-Libby was something that caught my attention this time. My headcannon watching this time is that she was indeed connected to Jacob just as much as Allana, meaning he was using her to keep tabs on special people like Desmond and Hurley. Not entirely sure though.
-This time around I understood more about the disease and what changed that made people "back crap crazy evil" like Sayid in the final season. The light inside the island is inside every one, and with all the simbology in the series, we can theorize an equal darkness exists in there... So its not too fat fetched to say that the MIB can tip the scale to the "dark side" (Disney please dont sue). You can see the same happening to Russeau's crew, aftet they interacted with the Smoke Monster.
-Now this time around I have stronger feelings about what is the Smoke Monster. He escaped the Heart of the Island when death came in through the Man in Black... So to me the monster has to be death itself, molded around the personality and soul of his.
-I will die on this hill when I say that James Ford was the perfect candidate for the New Jacob. I understand Hurley, but he was good from day one. James went from a bad, hurt person to a good and genuine one. What is better, to be born good or overcome your evil nature?
-Miles and the MIB have the exact same power to hear and know the dead person's final thoughts.
-If the MIB can turn into a horse, could he be some of the other animals that caused trouble to the gang?
-The fact that the black smoke cant fly over the pilons around the dharmaville is purely him playing chess with the people there to find an opening to kill Jacob.
-Who in the heck built the statue, the temple and the Heart? All 3 have distinct arquitecture styles from different people's, as well as Greek and Egyptian written on the walls... but I am 1000% sure the heart was built first, than the statue, than the temple ( the temple being the newest due to carvings of the smoke monster being in there.)
