Basically title: If I have [[The Water Crystal]] and an opponent’s turn starts while they have a single rad counter, they would mill 5 cards (one from the rad effect and 4 extra from the water crystal). If every card milled was a Nonland card, they would lose 5 life? I’m not sure if the water crystal’s effect counts as a “card milled this way” as considered under rad counters effect. Thank you :)

This might be a silly question, but I feel like it’s hard to look at a deck on archidekt or moxfield and know if it’s actually bracket 4 or 5. Would anyone mind sharing some examples they know of? I’d be interested in seeing a bracket 5 angel deck as well but anything is fine :)

I can’t say I’ve ever really felt negatively in any way about a halo game this early on release before but some of the lines in the three new missions kind of bug me. The line where chief says to the marine “we can’t change where we come from, only where we go” is just not a thing chief a year before CE even takes place would say, it’s something Infinite chief would say, but that’s years later. It feels like they played infinite but didn’t understand that chief has more experience and has become more human by the time infinite takes place.

Otherwise, game is great so far. It’s a small nitpick but I do feel like it’s important, more than any line delivery, chief’s character is usually very well done but in the first 3 missions at least in this game he’s a bit too quip-y

Edit: to clarify I still classify this game as like a 9, it just a single bad line.

Working on refining my angel deck, I’m at a loss on what cards I should remove. The ones I’m adding are [[drannith Magistrate]], [[emeria shepherd]], and [[witch enchanter]]. I’m on the fence on even adding drannith or witch enchanter, as I’m not sure I need either to begin with, but I definitely don’t know what I’d cut. The only card I’m considering cutting is [[starnheim Aspirant]] because I have other cost reductions already.

I’m also open to general advice like: does my draw seem ok? Am I running too much removal? Too much ramp/cost reductions? Should I add patchwork banner?

Title. Was playing a game where I had [[Team Avatar]] on the field. Tried to use its mana ability, but my friend told me “you can’t use that, you could only use it from your hand since you have to discard the card. You can’t discard from the battlefield only from your hand” this doesn’t seem right to me since nothing at all differentiates it from being something you’d play from your hand like how adventures or prepared cards look. Pls settle this dispute

I’m looking for something to get started, even something simple like changing where an item spawns.

Title. Since they are not being destroyed, do they also return to hand and just don’t come back?
