Early carolingean Impression (ca. 760-810)

New (the cloth one) belt = more Photos of course. Still doing an early carolingean Andrustio (scandinavians and anglo-saxons know them as Huscarls, essentially). Constructive Criticism always welcome. Wouldn't always wear the hat of course, just depending on the weather

Early carolingean Impression (760-810)

Well, what the title says. Socially I do an Andrustio, which functionally is the equivalent to what would be called a Huscarl in Scandinavia. Next thing to change is the seax scabbard, the sword belt and sword scabbard are in the works

New to the game - good first Team?

So I'm new to the game. Played a whole lot of other wargames before (been in the hobby for 9 years), but never Kill Team. I've bought myself the Ratlings, so how suited are they for a new Player? Edit: I play Astra Militarum in 40k, I own Ogryns

Recently did my first Kriegsspiel - AMA

So with some other folks from university we organized a Kriegsspiel. We did a much smaller version of the battle of Friedland, 1807, with three players per side. What was an experience was being an umpire (game master) in the first Kriegsspiel you partake in

Doomsday in cEDH?

Famously, Doomsday is a Deck in other competetive, eternal Formats of Magic (namely Legacy and Vintage), that doesn't fold to your Opponents having more than 20 Life, as it tends to end on ThOracle. So why is it not a more common Thing to see in cEDH? Is it just to easy to interact with?

Am I the Asshole here?

Not sure if the Subreddit is the right one here, but tonight I went to my LGS, bringing all my Decks (Bracket 2, 3 and 5, the latter being Codie, Vociferous Codex). Some People there wanted to play high Power and suggested to join them. I told them I didn't have anything high Power casual on me, but they said their Decks could wrestle with anything cEDH, particularly as a 3 vs. 1 and that their Decks were very optimized as well. So I joined them, thinking it to be fine although a mismatched Game. I did win on Turn 2 (normal Codie Plan, Turn 2 Main Phase Ad Nauseam) and was almost shouted at for Pubstomping and bringing something mismatched. Did I do particularly wrong here/am I the Asshole for playing the Deck in this Situation?
