Finally bite the bullet

Finally bite the bullet

Not really sure why I waited so long to try FSD. I got my 22 MYLR HW3 back in December. I’ve seen the posts repeatedly about how HW3 is terrible compared to HW4. Saw the announcement earlier today about V14 lite being rolled out. So I said why not 🤷🏻‍♂️ and finally purchased the sub for FSD. And wow, completely blown away at how it handled the no lined roads in the rural area I live in. Now I’m mad that I waited so long. Absolutely amazing, I get it now. If this is what V12 is like, I’m very much excited for V14 whenever it gets to me. I love this car.

Looking for the best pizza in MA

Thank you to everyone that gave their suggestions on my post the other day. A master list has been compiled and it’s long. 90 different mom and pop pizza joints spread across the entire state were recommended. While randomly checking menus, some these places look delicious. 🙏
Can’t wait to see how many we can actually hit up before the next school year starts (may have to stretch it into Sept.). 50 is the goal, 1 visited and scored. 2 and 3 will be today and tomorrow.

Our pizza challenge is 2 adults, and 2 middle school aged kids. Judging each restaurant across 10 different characteristics for final 0-5 ⭐️ rating. Everyone has their own scorecards and calculations are compiled after. While our favorites may not be yours that’s ok. We will refrain from talking bad about a restaurants as these are all mom & pop places just trying to make a living. We will definitely post the final scores of our Top 10. This is a fun little adventure that we thought up randomly and now we are making it happen.

While visiting the establishments we will also spend the day in the local area to check out parts of Massachusetts that we have never experienced. Lived here my entire life and this state has a lot to offer. Whether it’s hiking to Bancroft Castle in Groton, or visiting the NBA Hall of Fame in Springfield. Excited for the kids to see and explore our great state.

Best pizza in MA

This year’s summer vacation has begun. My family and I are on the hunt for the best pizza in MA. Our goal is to hit up 50 mom and pop shops from the Berkshires to the Cape and Islands. Most will be day trips with some local exploring on our adventures. We have setup a scoring system that we will each use to find our families favorite Massachusetts pizza. We have a list of establishments that we want to hit up but definitely looking for suggestions. Our journey can be followed on IG @tdac.thebestof.eats if you want to follow along.

Today we went into downtown Groton after school let out for summer, and hit up Bruno’s Pizza for a great local pie. This is going to be a delicious summer. Only 49 to go.

We are not selling anything, just trying to have adventurous summer in our great state.

*Edit: Maybe I should have titled the post as “Looking for the Best Pizza in MA”. I am in no way saying Bruno’s is the best, kind of thought the post explained it but maybe not. We are on the hunt for the best. Some will suck, some will be middle of the road, and some will be great.

Every single day

It feels like it’s almost impossible lately to sit on my porch in the morning or afternoon to enjoy this beautiful weather without someone pulling up on an electric scooter or hoverboard trying to sell me something. No I don’t need a new roof, mine is only 4 years old. No I don’t need new windows, once again only a few years old. No I do not want to be locked into a 20 year contract with your solar panels. Please let me enjoy my home without these daily annoyances. I tell them I’m all set, no thank you. I try to be polite. But they continue speaking to try to sell me whatever the hell it is they are selling. At least once a day, sometimes 2-3. Seriously enough please.

End of rant… 😒

How you all feel about this?

Union says they will push for gas and electric fuel paid for by rideshares, increased wait time payments, and better pay overall. Both companies have announced that they will work with the union “in good faith” (see how that goes).

‘22 Model Y and ‘27 Model A. That Model A is such a fun car and runs great but I’ll stick with my Model Y 🤣
