I’m thinking about being a cashier at Winco. I however don’t have any experience with cashiering, however I’m looking at working as a cashier until I can get into a medical assistant program. I’m considering Bi-Mart, Winco, and Walmart. Thank you!
Ever hear of ICIMS? ICIMS is an application software https://www.icims.com/. OHSU, City of Portland and many other companies, use ICIMS. Someone who works for Worksource told me that the City of Portland holds virtual How to Apply sessions.

I’ve got an interview with Direct Fairways this week. They are a call center that sells golf course advertising. Has anyone worked at Direct Fairways?
I had the most unpersonable experience with GLISS in Beaverton yesterday. During intake the receptionist/recruiter did NOT look me in the eyes, whenever she was talking she was; not looking at me, her monotone was automated, she seemed bored and over the whole process.
Alright….trying an angle here….trying to pivot while keeping track of all of my latest pivots. My latest job idea is farm work.
Here’s my thought…if it’s part time, if it has the hours that are offset from rush hour traffic, and if I find a farm willing to hire me with no farm experience whatsoever except I love animals. I’ve even gone as far as emailing a local farm. Where are farm jobs posted? Are farms hiring people who don’t have any experience? Thank you!!!
How does one find jobs in the clerical/admin/receptionist field in the Portland area?
