Hey everyone,

I’m trying to figure out if this is normal for a new VSF DD3285 or if I’m dealing with a movement issue.

Watch:
VSF V3 GMT-Master II
DD3285 movement
Brand new (received 4 days ago)
I’ve been testing it with TickIQ (52° lift angle) and comparing it to atomic time.

What I’ve observed:

After wearing the watch for several hours:
Amplitude: 240-264°
Beat error: consistently 0.3 ms
Rate: usually between -10 and +10 s/day
It seems to run very well while I’m wearing it.

After resting dial up overnight (about 9-10 hours):
Amplitude drops to around 188-213°
TickIQ shows anywhere from +55 to +118 s/day
Compared to atomic time, it gained about 55 seconds in roughly 9 hours

This has happened more than once.

What’s interesting is that after I put the watch back on this morning, within about a minute TickIQ was already reading around:
+10 s/day
226° amplitude
0.3 ms beat error
If I wear it longer, the amplitude climbs back into the 240-260° range.

My question:
Has anyone seen a DD3285 behave like this?
Does this sound like:
a movement still settling in?
a winding/power delivery issue?
something related to low amplitude after resting?
or something that should go back to the dealer?

I’m not planning to regulate it yet because it seems to behave very differently depending on whether it’s been sitting overnight or worn for several hours.

Any insight from people familiar with the DD3285 would be appreciated.

I received this VSF V3 Pepsi in the mail a few days ago and everything seemed fine with the movement. I measured +0.8 seconds per day on 6/29 when I first received it after fully winding it.

Fast forward to yesterday, I noticed the time had been ahead by 3-4 minutes, so last night I decided to wind the watch and set the correct time. I did another measurement and it measured at +6 seconds per day and thought “that’s still not bad” and went to sleep.

When I woke up and checked it this morning (around 6 hours later), I noticed it was ahead by about a bit under two minutes. So I wound the watch again and it measured at +48 seconds per day!

I’m not sure what I could’ve done, but I was wondering if it’s simple to regulate or if I should bring it to a watch repair shop? I don’t know how to go about asking watchmakers if they service replicas.

If anybody knows anyone in Broward County that services replicas, please let me know.

I started 1mg Finasteride on March 7th this year, and 2ml topical Minoxidil twice daily around March 20th. I know my hair in the before pic is a little wet, but even so, it seems like my hair is responding well to the treatment I’m doing. What do you guys think?

8.    ⁠Hand Alignment: looks fine to me, but I can’t tell if it’s off

9.    ⁠Bezel: No concerns for me

10.    ⁠Solid End Links (SELs): No concerns for me

11.    ⁠Timegrapher numbers: -1 s/d - 273 Amplitude - 0.0ms beat error

12.    ⁠Anything else you notice: nothing

I just recently got into reps in the last couple of weeks and I currently have a a VSF Submariner 116610LN and a U1 GMT Master II Bruce Wayne. I need help deciding between a VSF Batgirl and a VSF V1 Wimbledon 36 Fluted Bezel on Jubilee.

Besides the price, how much closer to gen could this get?

I purchased this 2025 GMT-Master II Bruce Wayne from a seller on here. This is my first rep purchase (my first rep was a gift), and I’m very impressed about the quality to price ratio. I was told it has 5833c movement.

It’s a U1 from MT.

A friend picked this up for $100 in Dubai for my birthday. What do you guys think? Worth it, or 💩er?
