Affordable & durable dailywear suggestions

Hey peeps

What kind of fabric do you usually wear for everyday workwear? ( Cotton, viscose rayon, silk, Vatican silk..)

I usually wear cotton, but it starts looking dull after around 10 washes. I’m looking for good-quality everyday workwear, mainly co-ords and salwar suits, that aren’t too pricey but also don’t fade or get damaged within 6 months.

What fabrics/brands would you recommend for something that’s comfortable, easy to maintain, and actually lasts? Also, please drop your suggestions for good online stores or offline shops in Kochi where I can find reasonably priced, good-quality workwear.

Relationship counselling

Hi everyone,

For those who've been to premarital or marital counseling, what kinds of topics were discussed during the sessions ?Was it mostly about communication and conflict resolution ?

Did it genuinely change the way you or your partner looked at the relationship? Did you notice any lasting difference afterward?

Also, if you had a therapist you genuinely felt was worth it, I'd really appreciate recommendations.

Considering delaying pregnancy for a few years, which fertility tests are actually worth doing

Hi everyone, I need some advice and honestly just a bit of comfort right now.

I'm in my late 20s and my husband is in his early 30s. Right now, I really don't want to conceive, we're not emotionally ready for parenthood yet. The challenge is that we're getting a lot of pressure from family members who keep warning us that we're "wasting our fertile years" or that we might regret waiting if fertility issues show up later, while I don't want to rush into having children before we're ready. The fear of "what if I can't have kids later" is creeping in, and I'm wondering if I should at least check my fertility now so I can have peace of mind and maybe even use that to calm my family down a bit.

For those who looked into fertility before actively trying for a baby, what tests did you have done? Did your doctor recommend anything when you were simply planning ahead rather than trying to conceive? I've heard AMH and semen analysis are the basics, but I'm so confused about what's actually necessary. Also, do these tests need to be done on specific days of my cycle?

I'd really appreciate advice from anyone who's been through this ,whether you delayed pregnancy successfully, had fertility issues, or just did these tests proactively. And if anyone else deals with intense family pressure about this, I'd love to hear how you're handling it.

BDS grad trying to break into PV - need honest advice

I'm a BDS graduate with two years of clinical experience, and I've been trying to get into a non-clinical job for the past year.

For those of you who have successfully switched from a clinical background to a non-clinical role (CRO, pharma, PV,)

- What skills truly matter and made you stand out?

- What did you include on your resume that caught attention of HRs?

- Is there any free or legitimate way to get hands-on experience with tools like Medidata Rave? (did a certification course on CR & PV but no hands on experience)

Pls let me know what all points I can add on experience section from my clinical experience

I would appreciate any advice. It would be helpful even to know where to begin.

Healthcare to pharma; fresher resume

I'm a healthcare professional with 2+ years of clinical experience and am currently trying to transition into the non-clinical healthcare sector, mainly focusing on Pharmacovigilance roles. It's been almost a year since I started applying, but I haven't received any positive responses so far.

Coming from a clinical background, I initially had very little understanding of how to create an ATS-friendly resume for non-clinical roles. After going through several YouTube videos and online resources, I've revised my resume multiple times,( here is the recent one)

I'm not sure what I'm still missing. If anyone has successfully made a similar career transition, or has experience in recruitment/resume screening, I'd really appreciate your suggestions and feedback. Any guidance would be very helpful.

Eye hospital suggestions; for Lasik

Hey peeps

I've been wearing glasses for more than 10 years due to short-sightedness and am now thinking about getting LASIK done.

Has anyone from here or anyone you know undergone the procedure? Which hospital would you recommend, and were there any complications or issues after the surgery?

Looking for genuine suggestions and experiences.
