VE1 12v socket

Does anyone have any idea why Holden thought the best position for the only front 12v socket was inside the center console? It seems like such a stupid position.

ELEN1000 Labs

This may be a stupid question but i've got my ELEN1000 lab tomorrow and i'm wondering whether or not I need a lab coat and safety glasses like I would for a chem lab or something? I just haven't got around to getting a lab coat yet.

Just started working at Bunnings

I started at Bunnings last week and I was wondering if some of my experiences were normal. I wasn’t taken around the store on my first shift, wasn’t told to download UKG and missed clocking in/out for 2 shifts and I feel like I’ve had no guidance whatsoever. I’ve been put in GI which I like because it’s not as customer facing, but no leaders have explained anything to me, they haven’t told me the process of putting out stock, receiving stock, using the zebra, what to do with excess or where to put stock in the interim. Luckily most of the guys I’m working with are really helpful but even with their help, they’ve still got a job to do and can’t answer all my questions all the time.

Is this normal and do I just have to suck it up for a bit?

Got the job but unsure what to do next

Hi guys, I recently landed a job at Bunnings. I got a call last Wednesday saying that I was accepted and that I needed to sign a few forms and complete my bank details as well as the introductory orientation video. Yesterday I got a few emails saying I needed to complete a few other modules such as intro to handypay and 'store-required learning' on Workday but that these should be completed during my rostered hours. All other stuff is up to date but I still haven't been contacted in regards to my first shift. Should I do anything from here or just wait until they contact me?

Cheers
