What Weapon Types do we Want to See Buffed?

With Gearbox once again releasing somewhat regular balance patches that include wide buffs to categories such as Maliwan smg's and Tediore pistols, what other weapon types need buffs? My personal vote would be for Ripper and Vladof snipers but what are you guys thinking?

How Does the Community Feel About Melee Weapons Being Added to Future Borderlands Games?

Until Wonderlands our only melee options were bladed guns or action skills that gave us special melee abilities or attacks. Wonderlands introduced melee weapons that had their own slot and changed the behavior of our base melee attacks such as improving damage, changing swing speed, adding elements, and giving unique bonuses to melee such as action skill cooldown or lifesteal. As an initial implementation in a non-mainline game I thought they were pretty cool and a welcome addition, they are certainly better than not having them in my opinion. They did not return in 4 though which to me was actually a bit of a head scratcher. Melee weapons have been a long requested addition to the series and with Wonderlands they began experimenting with it but for 4 it was just completely left out. The system wasn't perfect but was certainly something to keep iterating on. Were they a failure? Did people not like them and not want them to return? How does the community feel about them now? Personally I would love to have melee weapons added to the game, maybe they could be actual weapons in our slots and come with a third person perspective or something. Would really like to see melee weapons more explored.

Controller Stick Dead zone Feeling Large in Menus, Has Anyone Else Experienced This?

I am using a Scuf Envision Pro controller on PC and as the title suggests my controller stick dead zones feel REALLY large in menus. Making precise or small movements feels really difficult. Has anyone else experienced this?

C4SH and Green Tree Harlowe Should be the Standard for Skill Tree Synergy

When I first played borderlands 4 I chose Amon and was unfortunately severely disappointed by his skill trees and power. It was to the point that I was turned off of the game altogether as Amon was the only character I was interested in initially. With the huge round of buffs that happened initially I had hope that they would quickly buff Amon into a diverse and viable character. At some point it became clear that numerical buffs would not be enough however as the large buffs did little to change his viability.

With the release of C4SH I returned to the game and was completely blown away by his kit. All of his action skills and skill trees are viable with a ton of synergy and build variety. His fortune stack passive is utilized so well throughout his entire kit and gives direction and synergy that is satisfying to play and powerful. Each tree can produce a fully viable build (and even multiples) with in tree synergy but still gaining power from other trees. His trees also interact well with the damage formula to combine soup bonuses and multipliers to make him viable and fun in later UVHM levels. You can build into nearly every type of damage and produce a good build that works for both mobbing and bossing.

After playing C4SH I tried Harlowe as I have heard that she is really good and powerful. I began my playthrough with Blue tree as it looks to be her most fun tree and mobbing was a ton of fun but it lacks a ton of damage, ESPECIALLY while bossing. I then decided to swap to green tree around level 50 and was blown away by how powerful the tree is. This tree interacts very well with the damage formula, providing multiple different types of damage increases that lead to very powerful weapons. The triggers for all of this synergy and damage is not reliant on either mobbing or bossing situations so the builds in green tree can be used throughout the entire game. Some augments of course are better for certain situations but that is a good thing for build diversity. I personally have fun swapping off of group study to pick up my generator and throw it at enemies. The concept of infinite crits and ammo can be debated as balanced but it can't be denied that the tree has synergy that leads to a good feeling build. Green tree builds would still be good even without infinite crits.

Contrast this with Amon for example and it's easy to see why Amon is lacking compared to C4SH and Green Harlowe. Amon essentially does not have a passive, scales poorly into the late game due to lack of diverse damage boosting options, has poor synergy in his skill trees with a lot of weird and straight up bad options, and has augments/capstones that realistically don't do much for him. C4SH and green Harlowe should be the standard when buffing under performing characters and skill trees in the hopefully near future.

As most people are aware, the Mercredi suffers from a bug that prevents it from doing gun damage and thus does not benefit from gun damage boosts or things that proc off of gun damage. This has left the gun being practically useless after early game. However, if you roll a torgue mag (either impact or sticky works) then the bug is fixed and it works like normal AND the gun got a 50 percent buff today on top of a bit of fire rate. Combine all of this with its built in 200% damage bonus and this gun SHREDS. Seriously, this thing is now REALLY good. I highly recommend going out for one and trying it out, you won't be disappointed.
