Anyone own a Coyote gas grill?
Been looking for a new gas grill and was intrigued by the infrared grills, but the ones I can afford are too small. I stumbled onto the Coyote brand which allows for regular gas burners and infrared burners in the same box using heat shields to separate them. They look pretty solid, but would love to hear any first hand experience on how they perform and ease of getting replacement parts? Thanks
Good News: Terrapin Brewing announced they will keep the Athens tap room open, but will shut down brewing at that location.
Normaltown Brewing Company, Athens, GA
I figured with all the breweries closing around me I'd better get out and sample the remaining ones before they shut down. Cool industrial vibe at Normaltown with the Hazy DIPA and the Russian Imperial Stout being the stars of their line-up. They were very dog friendly, we got to crash on the couch all after noon with the pup and they had water & free dog treats for your 4-legged friend!

MIT Cables calls it quits
Looks like he had buyers for the company, but chose to just it shut down. Must have a made a few bucks over those 50-years to just burry an asset and get nothing for it.
Thunderstorms cooled it down just enough to sit outside for a couple hours and enjoy a premium stick.
Long day chasing squirrels, deer and that pesky fox make for a tired girl.

I had previously said I was not a fan of the Deadwood stuff, but someone gifted me a Crazy Alice and I didn't hate it. It also turns out to be the perfect dog walker, 20-30 minute smoke. And one can never go wrong with a 5er of Julius Caesers.
Now Playing Claudio Simonetti's fantastic soundtrack to Hands of Steel!
Got stuck walking the dog this afternoon so I figured I'd take a short smoke along with me in this oppressive heat!
Destroyer of Worlds
She has put more stuffed toys in the hospital in one month than all of our other dogs did in 36 years!!! On the bright side, she hasn't eaten a single thing she was not supposed to.
Crimson Keep is the weak link in the Dragon's Milk portfolio
Tried this one for the first time last night and came away quite disappointed. It tastes like a red ale, by that I mean the color, not the flavor. It lacks that hint of bourbon barrels that their other offerings have and the flavors were just really muted. In addition, the alcohol really shows through with very hot flavor on the tongue and the throat. I'll stick with their exceptional stout line-up in the future.
I'm very jealous of all you guys & gals that can sit outside and enjoy a cigar for an hour or two right now.
We are currently at melting levels here in the southeast and being outside for more than a few minutes is intolerable! October cannot get here fast enough!
