My free Nishiki

Guy threw this bike in when I purchased another one. 1983 Nishiki International. After I looked it over I realized it was actually pretty nice. 14 speed, CroMo frame, 63 cm and only weighs 24 lbs. It really needs a repaint. I just touched it up and did the brake cables and hoods (had to scrape off the old ones) saddle, lots of cleaning. Rides very nicely now

In over my head! 😖 I took apart this old downtube shifter to clean out the 1983 grease and apparently I didn’t put it back together properly. Does anyone have a schematic or photos? TIA

I’m considering the Honda Care extended warranty. My ‘23 is still under 3/36 until next January as it was titled in 1/24. The Info on Saccucci Honda’s website seems to say that the coverage begins on the date of purchase. Does this mean that I should wait until the 3/36 is almost done? I thought if I bought it now it would kick in next year
