Has anyone had their CPAP rental and consult fee covered by CanadaLife? Feeling frustrated after down $325 for nothing. Tip for others: Just buy the machine outright from an online supplier.
Medigas employee was more than helpful, but insistent that coverage was "total" and just kept assuring me all was covered. Well no, seems Canadalife doesn't cover rentals or consult fee. Knowing what I know now, I would have just watched a few youtube videos and bought the machine outright from a supplier.
What exactly do skyways impact with freight docks (increased production)? Does it apply to the research speed, pop growth, or exploration speed? Or just resources?
reddit.com[TOMT][Movie] A WW2 movie featuring a scene where, in a flashback, a Japanese soldier/officer/general rides the train in the United States and observes the vast industry outside his window (demonstrating the futility of the war).
There may be narration associated with this, I don't know, but the idea in the scene is that he feels that America is some invincible giant as a result of its industrial might. I don't believe the movie was all that old, maybe 1990s or 2000s.
After trying to revisit Anno 1800, I've given some thought to something that I feel is undermining my ability to enjoy the game: I don't hate BUILDING, I hate REBUILDING. Too much content that involves going back to existing cities/islands and tearing stuff up.
Some of this applies to the base game (railroads/electricity, mostly) but stuff like hotels, haciendas, so much crap that requires existing islands to be rebuilt, it's where it starts to get real exhausting for me. I know plenty "can" be planned ahead of time but there's limits to it, you know? Just a thought.
Better to share insurance info with drug company directly or negotiate first, pay out of pocket, and then bring that to CanadaLife?
I'm prescribed a niche, expensive drug for a chronic muscle issue, which has been getting worse as I get closer to 40. The out of pocket amount us ludicrous--the pharmaceutical company has basically priced the drug at exactly what would result in me having to pay the full $3500 deductible every year.
Pharmaceutical company is asked how much I'm willing to pay, and how much I make, if I have dependents, etc. Is that something I need to share with them? Could I not just lie?
What's the best lever to pull in this instance, is there something to arrange with CanadaLife or a means by which I could successfully negotiate with the pharmaceutical company in question?
Open to input or advice from anyone who has been in a comparable situation.
Thanks.
