Hope they do a Marvel Sega Collection

With the success of the Marvel Maximum collection, which was mostly the Konami Marvel titles, I really hope there's a chance for Limited Run to follow up and ink a deal with Marvel and Sega to bring the Sega 8 and 16 bit titles to modern consoles in a second volume of the Maximum Collection. The X-Men titles alone would make it worth it, they were some of the best games for the Genesis.

Would love to be able to legally own these games and play them again on modern systems.

  • Spider-Man vs. The Kingpin, 1991 (Genesis, Master System, Sega CD, Game Gear)
  • Spider-Man 1991 (Arcade)
  • X-Men 1993 (Genesis)
  • X-Men 1994 (Game Gear)
  • X-Men 2: Clone Wars, 1995 (Genesis)
  • X-Men: Gamesmaster's Legacy 1995 (Game Gear)
  • The Amazing Spider-Man: Web of Fire 1996 (Sega 32X)
  • X-Men: Mojo World 1996 (Game Gear, Master System)

Just occurred to me that post Thanos' Snap the population of Earth was still a fair bit higher than what Steve Rogers was used to.

The world population after the snap would have been about 3.6-3.9 Billion people. But that's still about 50% higher than Steve was used to in the 1940s. When he was frozen, the world population was only 2.4 billion.

So when he goes back to 1945 at the end of the movie he's going back to a USA Post War that was a population of only 140 million, probably less than the population of the USA post snap.

Just interesting to consider.

NSW to VIC package has now travelled over 13,000km, looping back and forth over a month.

I'm not even that frustrated anymore, just curious to see how far it will go before the tracking stops.

By my calculation, its travelled roughly over 13,000 km by now. Almost the distance from Melbourne to Cairo.

Ordered this off Ebay in early May. Made support enquiry after a few weeks when it was apparent that it was just caught in an endless cycle. Spoke to a human who confirmed that it has the right address and labels and that they'd try to get it out of the rotation it was on and that it was indeed going back and forth and isnt a tracking error. It appears they were successful as at one point it went to Melbourne Airport, before the gravity of the Sunshine West black hole sucked it in.

Package has been back and forth between NSW and Melbourne 6 times. Australia Post just can't seem to pull it out of the endless cycle.

Ordered this from an Ebay seller, noticed after a few weeks that it was just going back and forth between NSW and VIC. Contacted Aus Post who confirmed that the labels are correct and that they'd try to pull it out of the cycle. Finally yesterday I got excited to see it at Melbourne airport a new link in the chain, only to have my hopes dashed when it went back to the dreaded Sunshine West facility and then like bloody clockwork, back to NSW this afternoon. It's almost travelled 10,000 kms by this point.

It's so frustrating how they can flag it, pull it out and then somehow it just goes right back into the cycle of back and forth.

Came across these sculptures at Metartworld in Melbourne Australia. They're made completely out of scrap metal.

Took my kids to Metartworld, a fun gallery of pop culture statues and VR games in Melbourne. They didn't recognise these two, but I got a huge kick out of them.

Was watching this ep with my kids the other day and this thought came to me. This is one of those moments where Bluey, despite being almost identical to our world establishes that medical conditions that affect dogs are present. Would Bluey world dogs with rabies just be sick dogs or would they be crazed violent dogs who are akin to the infected in 28 Days Later?
