2011 fx2 3.5eb runs strong for a long time.
No problems. Not complaining. Just highlighting how strong these motors are when properly cared for.
I love my truck.

I'm a pretty capable diyer, but not a mechanic.
Wife had a '13 explorer for 11 years and it was very similar to my f150 (as they both had 3.5) but now she's got a '22 Telluride sx with 29k miles, as of noon today, so I'm learning a lot of new things.
It has 3 recalls I'll take in to be addressed this week,
I plan to drain and fill the trans, new oil and filter, and will change plugs at 35k.
I've heard about the leaky filter housing so I'll keep an eye on it.
What else is known here about the '22 year model that y'all would be willing to advise me to look out for? What would you do to this thing now, thinking about the long term, if you bought it?
Thanks In advance.
TLDR- GO CHANGE YOUR PCV VALVE!
Just wanna give a PSA to replace your PCV valve.
People made me feel crazy for sticking to a 4200mile OCI, and changing plugs every summer (usually 17k-20k miles annually)
Because the Texas heat ain't a joke and I wanna get to 300k before I have another truck payment.
I was never made aware that the PCV valve was to be replaced frequently, but for such a cheap part, it should get swapped at least annually if you don't run a catch can.
I had an O2 sensor go out last week, so I decided to swap my valve at the same time and now after refueling today, my mte was at 477, and I've never seen it above 412 before, using 93octane.
The route intake leaving Costco usually shows me at 17ishmpg but now it's 20.5
Guess it's time to schedule a walnut blasting and give this ol girl a full cleanse. These motors are awesome.
Stay Blessed, y'all.
I absolutely love seeing all the treasure chests and boxes of stacks.
Full safes are cool but they just don't hit the same.
Got a box from Tonernation during his whatnot show. Cool stuff with awesome heat treated colors.
The leg lamp I bought from Metal Smith Forge During their live pour demo.
Can't wait to get more at Sundays show and build a treasure hunt for the kiddos.
Sooo.... Spotify ruins trivia. The chapters are giving away answers.
Today I'll be handing out a stack of 1/4 goldbacks to some moms I find in the wild. The lady on these seems like a fitting motherly example, weighing sides of a story her $#ithead kids are telling her before she determines who deserves what punishment.
Stay Blessed, y'all.
My wife is looking into a '24 Telly.
I keep seeing issues with oil leaks. I have a problem where I obsess over oil changes and I do my own oil changes at 4k miles.
Can I have a dealership swap that shitty plastic with a metal pan and retain the warranty, or will they tell me "gfy" just because of my diy oil changes?
The uv anti counterfeit details are pretty cool
