I’m not usually in for “full service” hair cuts but wow I have to admit this was a fun experience at Luxury Gentlemen Salon in Cornelius NC. Full face hot towel, straight razor shave… and a nice cut.
I can flat foot at a stop…however at 5’ 7 there is not much bend in my legs and therefore I’m losing a lot of leverage when trying to back it up in a tight spot.
Just for comparison still have my first ever bike, Honda Shadow 750, and the contrast in overall height is substantial. Upright the height from the frame to the ground on the Shadow is approximately 5 1/4 inches and the Electra Glide is 7 1/4. Electra (with a low rider seat, already installed that) is also an inch higher than Shadow.
Hogworkz makes a lowering kits for my model, looks pretty easy to do, they have a 2 inch kit, and a 1-3 inch kit.
My question is for anyone that has actually lowered it 3 inches, did you find that that was too much, especially when you’re riding two up?
Visited on a great motorcycle ride with friends. “Pretty” is an understatement for sure.
