In 2006, the Greenville, South Carolina Police Department announced that they had connected one of their unsolved homicides from 1990 to two unsolved homicides that had occurred hundreds of miles away in Missouri. This meant that investigators were not dealing with isolated, unrelated crimes. They were dealing with a linked series. Events connected by a single source, a single method, a single offender who traveled. Yet, the announcement came with a crucial limitation: they did not know the identity of the killer. But they knew the nature of the threat.

This is going to sound weird. But I have had this really deep fear of snakes my whole life. The last few years I've been learning about snakes, watching videos, and looking at pictures.

I think I'm ready to touch one irl. Obviously not a wild one! Just am not sure how to find a snake someone will let me touch. Any ideas?

Who wanted Kathy Page dead? The 34 year old mother of two was found dead in her vehicle. At first look, it appeared that she had lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a ditch. However, the scene was staged to appear to look like an accident. Someone wanted Kathy dead and that someone covered their tracks.

Recently on one of the shows (TCG or Off the Record) the Captain made a comment about Nic getting complaints about pronunciations. Has anyone heard the Better Help commercial where Nic says he lies awake at night, and pronunciations is one of the reasons he lists??
I have to admit I find it very funny, mostly because I know it drives some people crazy. My favorite is when they say it multiple times. haha
Anyway, all podcasters make a mispronciations. This is not a Nic thing and honestly it is not a big deal when you consider the state of the world.
So forget about all the pronunciation and tell us what you like most about Nic!!
May 25th is National Missing Children’s Day. President Ronald Reagan proclaimed May 25, 1983 as the first National Missing Children’s Day. He established the annual observance to bring national awareness to child safety and encourage communities to prioritize protection efforts. The date was chosen to mark the sad anniversary of the disappearance of Etan Patz, a six-year-old who vanished from a New York City street corner on May 25, 1979. Twelve years after Etan Patz disappeared and on National Missing Children’s Day 1991, a five-year-old boy named Timothy Wiltsey vanished from a Carnival in Sayreville, New Jersey. This week in observance of National Missing Children’s Day, we take a look at a case that will never leave the hearts and minds of many. This is the unsolved case of Timothy “Timmy” Wiltsey. Not really looking for a fix, just any information if anyone has it.
Cat is 7y, male, neutered, has already been to two behaviorists, both were confused according to my parents.
This is a known issue, it doesn't cause any problems because he's not allowed to interact with other cats whatsoever.
He's very sweet to people (not very small children) but he seems to react to other cats the same way he would to a squirrel or rabbit. As in, just pure predation. No recognition that they are the same species. He does not display any territorial aggression to other cats, none of it is dominance behavior. Ears never go back, fur never puffs out, nothing, he's just hunting. Never seen anything like it.
He's injured a cat my parents were petsitting to the point of needing an emergency vet visit and extensive reconstruction of his neck. The shelter was hesitant to adopt him out at all and was considering euthanasia because he was returned multiple times. He is well-fed, he has always been well-fed, eating another cat was not something he did out of desperation.
My parents have had him since 2023 and I recently took him when I moved somewhere that allows cats. I'm set on keeping him.
Edit: more details, he ate a cat owned by one of the previous people who adopted him, and was surrendered for it, (in addition to two previous surrenders for behavior issues). From what I know, he had a good introduction to a smaller female cat, was left alone for a day, when the owner came back, it was a giant bloody mess.
Edit 2: further clarification he does not hate cats. He does not hiss or growl or try to look intimidating. He has no other behavioral problems, he doesn't yowl or anything when he attacks. He will find cover, and stalk, ears up, eyes big, completely silent. He gets very curious and excited when he sees other cats, he's seen my friend's cat, (separated by a ceiling height gate & supervised by 2 people). He seemed extremely inquisitive, sniffing, ears forward, no sound. My cat did not respond whatsoever to my friend's cat hissing, growling, or puffing up. He just seemed curious and started trying to see if he could stick his head around the side of the gate and pawing through the bars. Then he started looking back at me and meowing and rubbing on my legs.
Edit 3: No, he's not going to be euthanized. Stop telling me to put him down. I've already had him by myself since September of last year. And before that, I was around him at my parents house since 2023. He's my cat and I love him. He's perfectly healthy and affectionate and the smartest cat i've ever owned. Sincerely, fuck off.
But anyway, bottom line up front.
Has anyone been following this case against the assistant principal? Charges were brought on her due to an incident that involved a 6 year old shooting her teacher.

For some strange reason murder does not seem to live far from the train tracks when it comes to True Crime Garage stories. This week we examine an old unsolved murder case from Oklahoma. This was a case that at one time was thought to be a possible link to the Oklahoma Girls Scout Murders that occurred just a couple of months prior, and just one county over. Some suspected the murder could be a continuation of a horrific triple murder on the tracks in Arizona the year before. There were some very good suspects in this case, and some who were living right by the tracks.

Murder at Barberitos /// 927 & 928
In an eight day span in January of 2018, the city of Warner Robins, Georgia experienced three homicides. Warner Robins Police mistakenly believed all three homicides were committed by one perpetrator. When the suspect was arrested, eventually a long list of charges were dropped against the suspect. The murders of Janak Kumar Patel and Parker Killman Moore are still unsolved. Police have a lot of evidence but still need the public’s help. Any information is good information.
