What’s up, Spacers!!

After the recent happenings at Xbox, with laying off like 25% of Obsidian’s staff, how do we feel about TOW’s lifespan?

I absolutely LOVED TOW1, and even more so for TOW2, I was so disheartened when the news came out in July about layoffs. TOW has become one of my favorite game franchises, I love the world they have created, I LOVE the dialogue in these games, the DLC for TOW1 were phenomenal, so I’m hoping TOW2 DLCs live up to what I’m expecting. But, how does everyone feel about the life cycle of this franchise?

I really hope they continue to expand on this world, spacer’s choice, auntie’s choice, the radio and songs from TOW2 are literally in my most played songs playlist lol I adore TOW, and Obsidian for creating such a GEM 💎 of a world and story and game.

While the timeline for DLCs for TOW2 is around the corner, what do yall think about TOW’s lifespan? Do you think we’ll eventually get a TOW3?

Just for some context, I have two kitties, brother and sister, Hopper and Maple. Maple is a calico, Hopper and orange boy, we’ve had her and her brother since they were kittens, they recently turned 3.

Since about winter of 25’ she has been having these breathing issues. Started with hearing restricted breathing with some clear nose/eye discharge. I noticed she would sleep/rest with her neck stretched out a bit. I also noticed this black “crud” around her nostrils, which i would clean whenever I’d see it, but that I assumed was from her being nosy and sniffing everything in sight lol

I gave it a few weeks to see if there was any improvement, I didn’t notice any, it also did not get worse, so I took her to the vet. They said she sounded fine, everything looked good, clean soft coat, clear eyes, gums and teeth looked good, didn’t even notice the short or restricted breathing. They gave me some nose drops, basically saline and a med mixed together, which I did for two weeks. I did not notice any change.

After those few weeks, I took Maple back to the vet because I hadn’t seen any improvement. This time I asked for an X-Ray and they did notice her shortness of breath, and the x-ray came back with nothing aside from some inflammation. The vet said it is most likely kitty asthma, she prescribed some steroids, a full pill daily for a week, tapering down to half a pill every other day.

At first I noticed significant improvement, she never really “lost” energy, she has always played and eaten her food, but it was a noticeable mood change in Maple. A few weeks in, we have gotten down to half a pill every other day, and it seems as if maybe she’s struggling a bit again. I noticed the resting/sleeping stretched out more often is back, neck stretched out sometimes as well, I just want to make sure I’m doing everything I can.

Seeing all the posts about how a kitty breathes leading to scary and horrible endings, am I doing enough to keep up with her breathing trouble? I set up humidifiers, bought air purifiers, switched to a hypoallergenic food, so I am doing my diligence. Any and all information would be helpful, even things you might do to help your cats who have breathing troubles, thank you!!

I recently moved to an area where Xfinity is unavailable (crying, screaming, throwing up 😭) so I had to switch to Cox. I gotta say, from customer service to the actual service, it’s horrible compared to Xfinity.

First of all, the “self set-up” bs. Did everything they asked, tried every damn coax connect in the place, restarted the modem 40 times, nothing. And now? “We’ll have to schedule an appointment for a tech”, why.? The previous owner used Cox, I used the same coax connect he did, but the self install failed? So now, because self install won’t work, I either pay $100 for a tech, or do their dumbass $10 a month customer crap, which “waives” the tech fee, but you can’t cancel that customer crap until after 90 days, so either I pay $100 or $40..? Why do I need to pay at all when the self install bs should have worked with no issue?

Not only that, customer support was abysmal. I’m not too idiotic when it comes to tech, I work on and build PCs, I’ve worked for ISPs before, I’ve never heard of a residence which has been utilizing the same service, needing to send a tech to do the install when the self set up fails? Customer support couldn’t even give me a reason as to why the self install failed, just “you need to schedule an appointment”. Like dude..

On top of that, I work from home, I’ve already used so much time to even make this move, and now a tech won’t show up til July 7th?? First impressions are rough with Cox. If anyone has had any similar experiences, I’d love to know lol rant over, the aggravation and frustration has settled a bit

Do I buy the game? Yes or no? lol

I’ve played every EA UFC game when it’s dropped, I was a tryhard through 2-4, UFC5 was the worst of the bunch imo but I still played a bit.

I played the 10hr trial, and tbh it feels refreshed 🤷🏻‍♂️ there’s not much in terms of new modes (was hoping for them to bring back UT), but the way fighters feel and overall gameplay feels a lot better. Flow state is ehh, I’ve read differing opinions and I get both sides. I’m on vacation, but didn’t realize the game doesn’t drop til Friday, but I wanna play so bad while I have the time off lol is it worth the $100 ($90ish cause I have ea play) to buy? Anyone think the extras are worth it?
