Weird gooey yellow blob
This appeared on the patio stones over night. A little smaller than a ping pong ball. Looks like expanding foam insulation. Consistency like gooey marshmallow. Did not taste. I’m in western Washington.

Just finished installing these ATC SCM110 studio speakers. Built up timber frame style brackets out of Doug Fir to mount them on. CVG fir plywood and trim. Rubber damping pads between the cabinets and the shelf base. Ending up making the face frame too small when I was trying to dial in the angle on the miter saw, so I turned it into a feature by adding a contrasting strip into the miter joint.
I use this quite often when making one off jigs, just thought I’d share. I think it’s pretty self explanatory. The trick is to put a small shim under the back end of the clamp, which creates a fulcrum at the screw and directs the clamping force into the other end. It’s surprisingly effective.
