Robbie Ure, and Sevillas historical connection to Scotland.

One for the football history nerds here. With Robbie Ure having signed for Sevilla I thought it’d be fun to look at how the Scottish helped create Sevilla FC the oldest dedicated football team in Spain!

Also for the love of god he needs to be in our nations league campaign next month.

If you’re looking for a lower league team to spend some time at this season away from VAR here’s where you’ll get the most value.

This is a stats sheet of which team saw the most goals wins and points per pound based on their season ticket price and which ones probably weren’t worth the entrance fee…

With Scotland getting a lot of attention America because of the World Cup, I thought this might be interesting to share.

Andrew Watson was a Scottish-Guyanaese footballer and the first black international footballer in history. The team he played for Queens Park FC in Glasgow also were the first to pass and dribble the ball revolutionising the game of football in its early stages. (Apologies for the re upload the link wasn’t working)

Bars open for the World Cup

Hi, me and my friends are visiting from Scotland and we were wondering if there’s any Bars open late that will be showing the Scotland World Cup opener. The game starts at 03:00am.

Any help would be appreciated!

Auchinleck v Largs Junior cup final was the second lowest attended final in junior cup history.

I’ve been going to the junior cup finals for the past few years and I’ve always really enjoyed it. Auchinleck and Largs are 2 well supported sides but the final couldn’t even bring in 4k fans. The ticketing system is a bit of a shambles and Broadwood isn’t the most enticing venue. How would you change the junior cup to get more eyes on it?

St Mirren 1 - Partick Thistle 0, are thistle just cursed at this point?

How many playoffs are they going to have to lose… St Mirren are fortunate that thistle couldn’t score in that first half cause it was some truly dreadful pass by out the back from them.

Statistics on which teams receive the most penalties per touch in the opposition box.

I looked at the last 3 years worth of data to see if there’s any weight in claimed that refs favour specific teams. And what do you know they do, the pro Livingston bias inside the SFA is clear as day!

Dunfermline beat Arbroath in the Playoffs!

A tough one to take for arbroath but I think it’s fair to say they’ve massively over performed expectations this season. Dunfermline will be a tough challenge for thistle.

I was recently lucky enough to travel from Scotland to watch Slovan Bratislava win the League title. Bratislava is a beautiful city and all the Slovan fans were very welcoming!

As someone who was born in 2002 every time I hear about this fella I can’t believe he’s real. I keep waiting to be told it’s some elaborate april fools joke. For anyone who remembers him was he actually as bad as he seems?
