What OTD price should I negotiate for this 2026 Mustang EcoBoost Premium in WA?

I’m interested in a new 2026 Ford Mustang EcoBoost Premium in Washington State. Here’s the dealer listing:

https://www.soundford.com/new/Ford/2026-Ford-Mustang-78d0a534ac184c05c3a1f37b4265ef29.htm

Here are the details:

- MSRP: $45,395
- Advertised price: $38,095
- Dealer discount: $5,000
- Ford rebate: $2,500
- Doc fee: $200
- Mileage: 5 miles
- Trim: EcoBoost Premium
- Color: Vapor Blue Metallic
- Transmission: Automatic / RWD
- Listing duration: Approximately 174 days

The car has been sitting for almost 6 months, so I’m curious about how much more room there might be to negotiate.

Since I live in Washington State, I’d like to know what you guys consider a good OTD price and an excellent OTD price. Would something around $39k-$40k OTD be realistic, or am I being too aggressive?

Also, should I negotiate the selling price further before bringing up the Ford rebate?

Any Mustang/Ford buyers or WA dealers who can give me an idea of what number I should walk in with?

First-time car buyer – Is this 2023 Audi A5 Sportback Prestige a good deal?

Hey everyone,

I'm looking at a 2023 Audi A5 Sportback Prestige S Line 45 TFSI Quattro AWD and would appreciate some advice before pulling the trigger.

Details:

  • Price: $32,645
  • Mileage: 29,823 miles
  • Clean title
  • No accidents reported
  • 2 previous owners
  • Prestige trim
  • Quattro AWD
  • Chronos Gray Metallic exterior
  • Black interior

A little about me:

  • First-time luxury car buyer
  • Located in the Seattle area
  • Planning to keep the car for 3-5 years
  • Mostly commuting and weekend driving
  • Looking for a balance of style, comfort, performance, and reliability

A few questions:

  1. Is $32.6k a fair price for a 2023 A5 Prestige with ~30k miles?
  2. Should I be concerned about it having 2 previous owners in only a couple of years?
  3. How has reliability been for owners of the B9.5 A5?
  4. What maintenance costs should I realistically expect after the warranty expires?
  5. Is there anything specific I should check on the Carfax, service records, or during a pre-purchase inspection?

The car looks great on paper, but since this is my first luxury vehicle purchase, I'd love to hear from Audi owners or anyone familiar with the current market.

Thanks in advance!

Considering a 2023 Audi A5 Sportback Premium Plus AWD – Good Buy or Bad Idea?

Hi everyone,

I'm considering buying a 2023 Audi A5 Sportback quattro Premium Plus 40 TFSI AWD and wanted to get opinions from current owners or anyone familiar with the platform.

Vehicle details:

  • 2023 Audi A5 Sportback Premium Plus
  • 40 TFSI AWD (2.0L Turbo, 201 hp)
  • 17,881 miles
  • Black exterior / black interior
  • Clean used vehicle
  • Asking price: $32,688 before taxes and registration
  • Located in Washington State

A little about my situation:

  • I live in the Seattle area.
  • I drive around 10k–12k miles per year.
  • This would be my daily driver.
  • I'm looking for something that's comfortable, practical, fun to drive, and holds value reasonably well.
  • I'm also considering alternatives like a BMW X4, Cadillac CT5.

A few questions:

  1. Is $32.7k a good price for this car with ~18k miles?
  2. How has reliability been for the B9.5 A5 Sportback?
  3. What kind of annual maintenance and repair costs should I realistically expect after the factory warranty expires?
  4. How bad is depreciation likely to be over the next 3 years if I keep mileage reasonable?
  5. Are there any common issues I should look for before purchasing?
  6. If you were spending around $36k OTD, would you buy this A5 or choose something else?

I'd appreciate any feedback from owners, especially regarding long-term reliability, ownership costs, and whether you'd buy it again.

Thanks!

Question about driving after surgery.

Tore my ACL in left leg - BEAR implant surgery next week. Question about driving after surgery.

I tore my ACL in my left leg while playing soccer/football, and I’m scheduled for surgery next week. My doctor recommended the BEAR implant procedure.

Right now, I can still walk and do most day-to-day activities without much pain. Occasionally, if I fold/bend my leg a certain way, I feel pain for a couple of minutes and then it goes away.

I live by myself, so I’m trying to plan recovery logistics. For people who’ve had ACL surgery (especially BEAR), were you able to drive after about 4 weeks?

Also, I drive a Mustang, so it’s a lower car and a bit more awkward to get in/out of compared to an SUV. Since the injury is on my left leg, what would the driving situation realistically look like after 4 weeks?

Would appreciate any experiences or advice.
