took a year plus break, then when i came back i noticed a bunch of changes. like quira having an infinite W quest and guldan having self healing on his E quest now

googled it and apparently there were 3 balance updates this year alone? and all of them have a bunch of stuff?

is the game no longer maintenance mode? i know we got a bit of stuff over the years but this seems like a lot more then usual.

played sepulo first and had a blast. then erekir, which is just a whole lotta less fun:

-the hard cap on ressources and especially power means you cant really build large factories

-combine that with a lot of enemy base missions which leads to gameplay where you build a base defense then go semi-afk for 20 minutes while your factories build so you can attack. only interrupted by having to replace blocks because the game doesnt give you menders early on.

- in general enemy base missions are far more common then defense ones, in my opinion these are just less fun, tower defense is more fun then tower offense.

-the focus heavily turned away from turrets, you used to get a new one almost every mission, im on mission 8 and i still only have access to 2 turrets.

in general i think the new systems have a lot of potential. designing factories is alot of fun, unfortunately its an extremely small part of the game because of how limited you are in ressources. no point in building 3 silicon arc furnaces when you dont have the energy to power 2. its very different to the first game where the main limiting factor was time, here you have limited ressources so you have to leverage your infinite time.

is later erekir better? or is it just more of this? cause i stopped having fun like 4 missions ago and am now mostly playing to unlock new stuff that might be fun.

tried out tsundoku (a mihon fork) to try and read LNs through it. Unfortunately the person who recommended it to me didn't mention any repos that have LN extensions, and I couldn't find any online

is there a big repo for LN extensions similar to what keiyoushi is for manga? if so please refer me to it

Im on littoral shipyard and wanted to try making my first T5 unit. I made a tentative constructor and filled it with material, then made a payload conveyor leading into it, but the aegires(T4 repair ship unit) refuses to get onto the belt. i think it's too big?

yes I've set it to "enter payload block" before you ask, i just cant take a screenshot while holding shift.

am i doing something wrong or missing something? like is there a special way to get T4 units into the reconstructor?`do I HAVE to get them into the reconstructor straight from the T4 reconstructor?

i have level 1 for all 3 of the souls bonus upgrades(the two default ones and the gatherer one) as well as level 1 of boundless bag.

im considering what to get next, im torn between getting more general souls bonus, getting the crit specific souls boost, or getting the armory talisman that increases excellent and options oods.

obviously armory is a good long term investment, but getting more soul power so i can a) get original sin and promotion letter astrals, which will significantly increase my divinity earnings and b) afford extra page which increases my dragon egg gain and therefore my soul gem gain seems like it may be more worth it

or is there another use for gems im not seeing yet? the CPS bonus upgrades all seems fairly weak compared to souls bonus, and extra refinery slots dont seem worth it, especially when i cant even use the mats yet.

it seems like it shouldnt, since whetstone doesnt increase offline drop rate. does that mean scrolls of time works of off online material drop rates?

Does it spawn more goblins, aka more cloth? or just more coins? i assume it doesnt spawn any extra boxes?

jungle has 3 small enemy types, so do city and castle. does that mean that completing quests related to hornets and worms is faster in hills? how exactly does spawning work.

ive always done my 24k hornet kills for quests post UA in the jungle (so you can do mushroom and venus quests at the same time) but if hornets spawn more in hills i may have to reconsider

ive had the coimbo shield for over a month now. while doing my roulette dailies i accidentally talked to an NPC (who didnt have a ? on her), and unlocked a set of upgrades related to coimbo i didnt know existed. i missed out on a bunch of coin multiplier, and also keys because i did a bunch of astral key runs not knowing the 1t 2 key upgrade existed. made me miss out on 14 free keys essentially.

i really would have loved some sort of hint it was there. the quest board is really useful for keeping track of stuff, im glad it was added, but stuff like this should be on it. make it appear there after you buy the shield maybe.

im trying to save up for the refinery, and in general wanna be able to use shards necklaces again, so i need a lot of scrap

is there a better strat then just farming grapple runs for the 40% chance at 4 scrap?

what is better? im almost done with all the items for slayer chips in the shop, and wanna get the 150 reptile eyes to upgrade hammelia next.

whats the average chip/reptile eye ratio on slots? since you can get jewels and divinity points from them too they seem attractive as an alternative to buying directly.

I noticed that reddit had logged me out on mobile without me doing anything for some reason. i stayed logged in on PC.

tried to log back in, it said wrong username/password. i figured i had misremembered the password, so i reset it to a new one. password reset worked fine.

logged back in on PC(which kicked me out when i changed passwords) with the new password just fine. tried to log in on mobile. it still says wrong password.

ive confirmed theres no typo or anything. same username and password that lets me log in in a private window on PC no issue doesnt let me log in on mobile. ive deinstalled and reinstalled the app too, didnt help either.

logging in through mail link wont work either. it just says "sorry something went wrong. lets try that again" and then asks me to enter my mail again
