When you’re on here, scrolling like you normally would, what do you notice about ANYTHING that brings you to a grinding halt and immediately compels you to look at/“check out” a user’s profile? (Especially since this behavior of examining someone else’s profile is far from unheard of).

For me, it’s just to see profile age and Karma, deduce whether or not it’s a Bot, and move on. I don’t have the neurological bandwidth for anything else more cerebral than that. And I’m getting older and I’m not trying to waste any time engaging with Bots.

How about anyone else?

I’ve had my fair share of seizures in my life (due to other reasons) but I still don’t wanna take my chances and get caught off guard trying to watch a music video, getting bedazzled, bombarding my central nervous system and shit by some light-show coming out of my phone or my television.

This also counts for movie trailers and even tv shows. If they’re gonna half-ass SPOIL the episode for the audience with trigger warnings about the episode’s content then they might as well throw in a seizure warning for shows that have intense acting scenes with shit blowing up non-stop, or sci-fi lazer weapons inducing Pokémon-Shoku on the viewer.

Even without having seizures from this kinda stuff it’s still annoying, and a heads-up would be nice.

With the recognizability of the Catholic, Anglican and Protestant depiction Jesus AND the Rider-Waite depiction of Magician Card, both wearing a White Robe and a Red Sash, I was wondering: is there any direct, common underlying meaning to such a similar symbology?

Wanna ask someone if it was possible for it to happen to the US in that same timeframe.

It was one of those 1950s stop-motion adventure flicks. The scene I remember was the protagonist entering a cave at ground level. As he journeyed through the cave he attracted the attention of humanoid faceless beings emitting light from their heads. Proceeding further upwards through the cave more and more of these strange beings emerged and began to follow the hero.

At some point he realized he was being pursued and kept going until he reached an open to a cliff, and right there was a Pegasus chained to the floor of the cave. The hero chopped at the chain and released the flying horse and then mounted it to ultimately fly off away from the numerous creatures following him.
