There is a young boy, around 10, looping around inside, on a kick board. I'm not sure what they're called. It's a skateboard with a bicycle type handle. Anyway, the bartender just chased him outside. Somewhere there is a parent type person here. But you wouldn't know it.
Just wanted to try to post about this in general. For whatever reason, we have been blessed with their beers in the Philly area (I always like to spin some kind of tale in my head, involving the brewer and someone local). I'm mainly posting this for visitors / tourist. I see Monks mentioned (rightly) all the time for visiting beer lovers. I just wish they knew they could go somewhere less crowded and still find unique beers in the city.
This, to experienced beer drinkers, is obviously a beer. At Magnify in NJ, this is their Hell Yeah. Small pour because I'm here to try a few. This is the thing I love to order when we're out with non beer drinkers. It's fruity, and the nose is almost perfume like. The head dies quickly, it's pretty flat. It's pretty much candied fruit, especially cherry or even punch. We always say, give us time in a bar with a solid tap list, we'll get something you can drink.
This is the Dewey beer on tap right now. It's pretty much a dessert beer. But good lord is it well made. If anyone would like to hang out, we're old and seated at the back tables. You might remember me as George T. Had issues with the old ID.
Recently found out about them. My question is, I see they have 2 places. Does the one just outside of town serve cider, or is it just production? Google maps just has their spot near Pottstown for anything.
I am a "give me all the local brewies" posters. I also have been on reddit much longer than my current persona. Started at Future Days Brewing and it's a hidden gem deserving attention. Moved to Other Half, which we've neglected lately. Came through solid with food and drinks. Now at Sacred Vice, which is rocking. Crazy good beer. Bottom line, don't ignore what we have in our neighborhood. You will regret it eventually.
I currently own Tea pro, Hype 4 I, Aful 5 pro, Kiwi ears orchestra lite, and many more less expensive sets. I'm looking for a set between $450-350. Something current. I enjoy the Tea pro more than anything else I have. They have bass nothing else I have has. And very good instrument separation considering the amount of bass. This is the sound target I'd be aiming for. Any suggestions?
