Songs to train my speed

I've been trying to learn Sir Duke by Stevie Wonder, and I'm just not fast enough for the really quick pentatonic runs in the song. What would be something a bit easier I could work on first? I would love a song where the bass is a main instrument as well. Thanks!

Timestamp in the youtube mobile app

Why does clicking the comment section to open the comments take me to random timestamp that HAPPENED to be there when I clicked?? That shit is so annoying, let me open the comment section first goddamn it. Anyone else have this problem??

Advice on upgrading my amp setup

I've been playing on my Traynor dynabass 200 for like a year, and I think I'm due for an upgrade (the tweeter is dead, the amp buzzes a lot and is way too big and heavy for home practice).

So, what should I replace it with? I've been wanting to get a compressor pedal and some distortion, so something that can do both and save me money sounds nice.

Currently I'm torn between the darkglass combo (the 112 microtubes one) and an Hx stomp (possibly lt) that I would hook up to a DI as needed, or to my headphones at home. It might be better to get an pure amp combo and the pedals separatly instead, but I'm not sure.

Ideally, I want something light, flexible and that isn't too boomy (I play on a 5 string, so I really value clear sound). I play everything from metal to mowtown, so I'd like to have the ability to dial in my sound to match what I'm playing.

Any suggestions/recommendations other than those I listed? Thanks!

Is it ok for a first car to be manual transmission?

So for context I got my permit 2 years ago, but I only learned to drive on automatic transmission (also, since I don't own a car, I don't have a lot practice under my belt). With this in mind, I wondered if I would be able to learn how to drive a manual on the go. In my area, there are a few manuals that are a really good deal and fit my needs.

However, I'm scared that adding another challenge on top of my lack of experience might make me more likely to get into an accident. Any advice is welcome, thanks!

How to get consistent dynamics and good ghost notes?

I'm trying to learn Sir Duke by Stevie Wonder, and I noticed my dynamics are all out of wack. It's really hard for me to play notes at a consitent volume (especially when switching strings), and my ghost notes are not really audible, and when I really dig into them they sound bad (kinda metallic). How should I improve these issues?

Video I'm trying to learn from for reference : https://youtu.be/uQpJpQ5KBwE?si=itCYDiAgGtTEa7DS

So I've been playing for bass for a little while (1-2 years), and I've been thinking about joining a band. I'm a bit afraid tho, because I really can't improvise or write anything (I know basic scales and triads and how to read rythm but that's it).

In general, what skillsets do bands require? What should I learn to fit in with real musicians (I really don't feel like one lol)? So far I've just been looking up tabs and learning songs, and looking up tutorials if the technique is something I don't know yet (slap for example). I don't want to be a burden to others when I join a group, but I have no idea what the expectations are. Any advice is helpful, thanks!

I can barely remember this tiny part of the bassline... The song is very bass heavy, not rock or metal, super swingy feel. It's also pretty quick, def not easy to play. I can't recall it at all! The band has disbanded because the singer turned super christian or something like that (the person who showed me this song says anyway).

I know this is a hard ask, but I hope someone cam get it lol, thanks!
