This is my first sewing machine that my grandma bought me recently, the name is mini functional household sewing machine. I’ve been using it for the first few days and haven’t had any issues until now?! The bobbin keeps jamming and I don’t know if it’s a user error on my end because I’ve tried watching multiple tutorials on how to rethread it but nothing seems to be working 😭 I’m so confused

Hi! I only recently started sewing maybe 3 months ago so I am VERY new to this. I recently got my first sewing machine so this top here is my first project!

The first picture is how the top is now, and the second is what I want the result to be. The main thing is I really wanted to sew a pink ribbon around the upper waist to add a bit of a divide on the top. I tried to look up a tutorial on how to do this, but I guess I wasn’t wording it correctly because I haven’t found anything.

I’m mainly confused on how exactly do I sew a ribbon on without having the seams of the thread super visible? And could it wrap around fully, or would that make the waist too tight; like I can only have it visible in the front but not the back?

Hi so as I was going to bed I felt my eyebrow piercing come off and it seem's that l've lost one of the balls that held it together. I'm mainly seeking advice on how I should move forward because I know the hole can close pretty quickly if I don't get it back in soon, but I have this bump where I got it pierced that prevents me from doing so myself.

I've had this bump/potential keloid (?) for MONTHS and it doesn't hurt when I touch it, but it is a bit red and pretty visible even with the jewelry in. I'm wondering if I should even go through the trouble of getting the jewelry put back in because of it.

My main question, should I just wait for it to go away and get it re-pierced in a couple of months?
Because if just waiting is the only option, I wouldn't entirely mind since I don't LOVE the placement of my piercing anyway. But it still does suck not to have it though.

Also for more information:
• I got it pierced near the end of November, 2025.
• It's a curved bar.
• I only got this downsized once and y, so I’m just not going to add them because this is my 3rd post and I really just want advice.
