Confidential addiction treatment for public figures in europe, how do people actually arrange it

I'm an assistant. I book travel and I run a diary and a while back the person I work for asked me to arrange this for him. I'm not going to say who or what field, that's the whole point but he's the kind of person whose absence gets noticed
the brief I was given was short. Find a place where nobody will know I'm there
Paracelsus came up first, but the price was too high. Les Alpes also looked private, though i wasnt really sure what that meant in practice
Dr Vorobjev in Belgrade was another option we looked at. they had airport pickup and the clinic was in a quieter area, which seemed useful for privacy
what i realised after looking into all of them is that the stay itself is only part of the privacy problem. the harder bit seems to be the months after when follow up calls and appointments keep showing up in a diary other people can see
for anyone who's dealt with this, how did u handle the long term follow up side without making it obvious what the appointments are for??
Thank you

a market report said demand was growing. The shipment numbers told a different story

I ran into this while looking at a new market for work
the market report made it look pretty attractive. Demand was growing, imports were up, and the category seemed to be getting bigger
but when I looked at actual shipment activity, things didn’t look quite as straightforward
some countries had strong overall growth but only a small number of buyers were actually driving most of the shipments. In a few markets, the numbers also seemed to be moving in the opposite direction from what the reports were saying
now I’m wondering how other people handle this
for pple working in international trade, do u usually trust market reports or do u also look at actual import/export activity before deciding whether a market is worth pursuing?
Feels like the headline numbers don’t always tell the whole story

float exchange rate on XMR swaps..… when do u actually choose fixed over floating?

been trying to understand this better with xmr swaps because even a small change in the final amount can be pretty noticeable
i've been looking through a few swap services like ChangeNOW, Exolix, SimpleSwap and StealthEX and im less stuck on which one to use than when fixed vs floating actually makes sense
floating seems straightforward when the market isn't moving much, but then the final amount can still change while everything is processing
fixed gives u more certainty on the quote, but then im wondering how much that certainty is really worth depending on the spread
for ppl who swap xmr regularly, do u compare the fixed and floating quote every time??
or do u normally stick with floating unless the market is moving hard?
curious if anyone has actually tracked the difference over a bunch of swaps instead of just going with whichever looks better at the time

AI oral English assessment tool for language school placement.… how are you handling remote students?

we started accepting remote students this yr and its made our old placement process a bit awkward
before this we could just sit with someone for a quick speaking interview, now some students are joining from completely different time zones and scheduling every oral placement interview is getting alil messy
ave been looking at ways to move that part online, smalltalk2me  is one option that came up, mainly for getting a spoken English level before enrollment
i’m less worried about replacing the teacher completely and more about using something like this as a first step before someone reviews the result
for anyone teaching or placing students remotely, how are u handling speaking assessment now?
do u still schedule live interviews with everyone or use an assessment first and only interview when the score looks unclear?

buy monero with crypto already in a wallet…. what route makes the most sense?

trying to understand the easiest way to buy monero when u already have crypto sitting in another wallet
ive got some ETH and it feels kinda pointless going back through fiat just to end up with XMR again, so ive been looking at direct ETH to XMR swaps instead
seen a few different routes mentioned, including swap services like simpleswap, but availability and rates seem to vary quite a bit depending on the pair and where u are
for ppl who regularly buy monero this way, what do u usually compare before swapping?
the final rate, fees, liquidity, how long it takes, or something else?
and is ETH even a sensible coin to swap from or do most people convert through something cheaper first?

corporate English training speaking assessment.…. what are you using?

working through the speaking assessment side of a corporate english program rn and im curious how other L&D teams handle it
the awkward part is getting everyone to agree on what something like B2 actually means in practice. two people can listen to the same employee and still come away with slightly different scores
been looking at standalone assessment options rather than full training suites. rosetta stone came up because its already familiar to procurement, and smalltalk2me is another one being considered for the speaking/cefr side….for anyone running english training internally, do u use one standard assessment across the company or still combine automated scores with a human check?
mainly interested in what stays consistent once you start assessing bigger groups

where do electronic shelf labels actually start making financial sense?

curious where people think the cutoff is with this kind of retail tec
for a supermarket with thousands of products and regular price changes, electronic shelf labels seem pretty easy to understand
but for a small specialty store changing prices once in a while, paper labels are cheap and already work
so at what point does the labor/time saved actually justify moving to a digital setup?
store size? number of SKUs? frequency of price changes?

What is one retail task you wish you never had to do again?

random question for anyone working in retail
what’s one small task that somehow ends up taking way more time than it should??
changing price tags, checking shelves, fixing price mismatches, updating promos, inventory checks......
none of it sounds that bad on its own, but doing the same thing over and over every shift probably gets old fast
if you could automate just one boring day to day task, what would you pick?

how accurate are AI CEFR English level tests?

been curious abt this with how common English assessments are in BPO hiring.

a CEFR score looks pretty straightforward, but does it actually match how someone performs once they’re speaking naturally or handling calls?

human interviews aren’t always consistent either, so I get why more automated speaking assessments are being used. I’ve seen Versant mentioned a lot and smalltalk2me came up while looking at some of the newer options too.

for ppl working in BPO here, have u ever scored really well on one of these tests but then felt your actual speaking level was different? or seen the opposite happen?

how much do u actually trust the CEFR score?

At what point does replacing paper price tags stop making sense?

Random operations quiz for anyone running a physical store
when u're small, changing paper price tags manually probably isn't a huge deal. but once you have hundreds or thousands of SKUs and prices or promotions changing regularly, I imagine it starts eating up a lot of staff time
where does it actually stop making sense to do it manually?
do most stores just assign someone to handle price changes every week, or is there a point where automating the shelf labels becomes worth it?
would be interesting to hear from anyone in grocery, convenience, electronics or other stores where prices change pretty often.

What do you check before quoting a buyer in a new market?

I work in international sales and a potential customer recently asked us for a quote
I had the product information, estimated costs and shipping options ready but then I realized I didn’t know much abt the actual demand in their market.....
The customer was interested but I wasn’t sure how active that market was, how many similar companies were buying there or whether the opportunity was as strong as it first appeared.
It made me wonder how often sales teams move straight into pricing before understanding the wider market

those workin in exports or international sales......what do you normally check before preparing a quote for a buyer in a new market??

trying to cut down on my kid’s screen time.… has anyone used Savvy Kid?

bn trying to cut down on my kid’s screen time, especially when routines or difficult moments come up…..
I’ve seen a few ppl mention Savvy Kid, but I’m still not sure what to make of it or whether it stays useful beyond the first couple weeks
has anyone here actually used it for a while? did it help or did u eventually stop opening it?
