How can I make the hem of this bodice longer if I separate this dress into a skirt and top?

I made this dress a few years ago and am tired of the look. I'd like to separate it into a top and skirt, but the bodice is a little too cropped. Any ideas for how to make the hem longer? The seam allowance between the two pieces is quarter inch or less, and this is a midweight linen. Thanks!

Update to yesterday's keep/donate post & followup questions <3

Thank you for all the input on my post from yesterday!

Here is an update to the things I've decided to donate/keep. I want to buy some new tops to replace the ones I am donating, and would love input on which ones I should pick. I am posting them pictured in black so the fit stands out, but will be choosing blues, grey, brown, or cream/almond. I am also looking to buy some linen pants like the last slide.

Also, what is everyone opinions of cream or almond colored tops on my skin tone? Does one look better than the other? Thanks again!

please help with my summer wardrobe

This is my entire wardrobe minus a couple wool sweaters, rain jacket, winter coat, lounge pants, two pair of jeans, overalls, and a hoodie.

I need help deciding which items to keep or donate based on fit. I have pretty bad body dysmorphia, even after taking pictures, and would appreciate help figuring out which cuts look best on me. I obviously like really basic stuff but want to find items that have a bit more excitement via silhouette and a flattering fit rather than patterns or super bright colors. thank you <3

p.s. the first three shirts in my second slide are for sun protection because i live in the desert but don't love them..

Keep or toss?

Looking through my summer clothes and feeling like some things don't flatter me at all. The first three shirts are linen or cotton sun shirts because I live in the desert. I know I probably have the most boring wardrobe ever, so please bear with me! I just want help figuring out which cuts I ought to avoid or seek out the next time I go shopping. Thank you!
