How do I enjoy self pleasure again?

24F, virgin, but I thought I had it all figured out in terms of self pleasure. External stimulation over internal, what speed and toys I liked to use. Now, it’s all kinda meh. I’ve tried switching it up, but nothing seems to make me O, at best I’ll grudgingly get off but that’s not my goal.

I’m not on any new medications that would kill my drive, nor do I feel depressed or too anxious to enjoy it.

It’s actually frustrating me more tbh, and I can’t seem to do anything about it.

Any tips on how to enjoy self pleasure again?

Not exactly getting along with my boss

6 months into the job and I feel like I’m at the weird situation with my manager. I’ve never had an issues before with previous managers/superiors, but we are just not vibing. It’s not like I’m unlikeable, other people in the office don’t seem to give me this vibe. My manager is very stiff and not personable towards me, and tbh it’s a little off putting. Sometimes I don’t know if they are being condescending or “just business” with me and I’m worried it will affect my growth in the company. They talk to the intern and the other junior employee (2 YOE) better than they do me. They told me I’m doing a “fantastic job” and no one has had any complaints with my work, but I know sometimes being liked is as important (or more).

I like my role and the company, and I would like to continue working there. Is this just an unfortunate situation where my boss just dishes out work and I do it, and the friendly office chit chat is off the table. Any advice?

Nervous about upcoming 1:1 meeting

I’m 6 months post grad working an entry level job.

Basically, I directly report to my manager, but there are several people that I should be talking to to get work from before I go to them (because they are very busy managing the the larger group of people I work in, which I respect that because it makes sense). Everyone I work with outside of my manager says I’m doing a good job, that I’m not asking too many questions, and that I am figuring things out and completing tasks well. However, that tasks I get from my manager are ill defined, is work that I am doing for the first time, or random hyper specific tasks that I often mess up in some way. They find this frustrating (obviously understandable) but when I try to ask questions, ask where I can find additional resources to help complete the task, or repeat back what I heard to confirm I understand the scope of the work, they act like it’s the biggest inconvenience in the world (I often hear them sighing loudly when replying to my teams messages). Frankly, this makes me really nervous when they talk to me and makes me over think simple tasks which makes me freak out even more.

Our first 1:1 is coming up and I am very nervous. I am not on a probationary period, but I’m afraid of being PIPed. Everything I have struggled on before i know for a fact I can and will do better on since I know how to approach the work now, but I’m afraid that I won’t get to redeem myself in those aspects.

Any advice? Should I just prepare to take what she says on the cheek and just keep at it? I’m mostly worried I’m going to take what she says really hard and be embarrassed by not living up to expectations. Worst case scenario I get PIPed so they can fire me later (which reading on Reddit seems like a common strategy), I haven’t done anything that would require me to be fired on the spot.

I don’t think my manager has time to manage me

I’m 6 months post grad working for a company in a very technical, public project focused field. I have a BS and a MS and some internship experience prior to starting this job, but I haven’t exactly hit the ground running in this new position.

I’m working on a very big team, and due to my lack of real world technical experience, I’ve been kept on the project administration side of things. No big deal, I’m plugged in with the designers when I can be and learn a little when it’s possible. However, it’s hard to understand what exactly I’m doing from a project admin standpoint when I’m not in regular project meetings and doing technical back checking for other that I don’t have a good understanding of.

Everyone I reach out to (outside of my manager (who also manages the whole projects I work on)) for guidance and questions is understanding and takes the time to explain to me what my knowledge gaps are.

My manager is frankly too busy coordinating with other members of the team to be a good mentor/source of work because they either 1) assume I know how to do everything perfectly and gets annoyed when I ask questions/mess up or 2) does not like the work other superior team members gives me because “it not the work that my labor can be most effectively utilized on”.

We have our 1 on 1 coming up (he occasionally checks in with what work I’m doing when he walks past my desk), but I’m nervous he’s basically going to say I did not live up to his expectations. Everyone else I’ve worked with says I’ve done a good job and is encouraging, but really it only matters what the person who signs off on my timesheet.

Any advice? Should I just prepare to take what he says on the cheek and just keep at it? I’m mostly worried I’m going to take what he says really hard and be embarrassed by not living up to expectations.

New tire needs shaping?

I just bought a new tire for my back wheel to use when I have my bike on my trainer. I’ve changed my tire before to fix a flat, but I’ve never bought a brand new one.

The one I ordered off of Amazon came flat in a box and is not remotely in the shape of a tire. I’ve done my best to try to shape it using binder clips, and was wondering if there are any tricks to get the side to curl in so it is easier to install on the rim.
