Hey everyone!

I’m going tent camping for 2 nights soon and wanted to get some advice from people who camp more often. The campsite is in the Midwest area of the U.S. Right now the weather is looking warm/humid with possible light rain, so I’m trying to make sure I pack everything I’ll actually need and don’t forget something important.

I’d love any tips for staying comfortable in humid/rainy weather, keeping things dry in a tent, and making setup easier. Also wondering what items people always wish they brought once they get to the campsite.

We’re planning on cooking over a campfire too, so if anyone has easy meal ideas or beginner-friendly campfire foods, I’d appreciate those as well. I was originally thinking grilled chicken sandwiches/mac and cheese, but I’m open to easier options too.

So far I have basics like:

• tent/sleeping stuff
• clothes
• flashlight
• cooler/ice
• bug spray

But I feel like I’m definitely forgetting things lol.

Any must-pack items, camping hacks, food ideas, or general advice would be super helpful. Thanks! 😊
