Got my new Cardiac Calcium score and I am very disappointed and actually kinda angry. It went from a 0 five years ago and now it is a 2. This in addition to my ApoB of 116 - I think I need to start a statin. Uggghhh @#%?!

Numbers Improved but Still Very Discouraged

52F. I live a pretty healthy lifestyle. I eat healthy, take supplements, no alcohol or smoking, and I TRY to exercise as much as I can with varying degrees of chronic pain. I have very good sleep habits but feel I need about 9 a night to feel best (never get).

My lipids have improved. But I asked for an Apo-B this year and the result floored me. First numbers in 2025 and second last week.

Total Cholesterol - 243 to 214

Triglycerides - 132 to 94

HDL - 68 to 66

LDL - 149 to 129

Non HDL - 175 to 148

Ratio - 3.6 to 3.2

Ferritin - 250 to 162

LPA in 2025 - 43

Calcium score in 2021 - 0 (will be having new one soon)

The really crap news - Apo-B is 116

I am so mad honestly. I really want to live to a healthy 120 and I need these numbers looking way better than this nonsense.

I’ve been trying to only wash 2-3 times per week. How do you keep your hair styled one day and then soft/clean feeling the next? Is it possible?? If it helps, my hair is fine but a decent amount of it and slightly below clavicle.

Before jumping into the Kerastase abyss, I am going to give this a whirl first.

I have been using Lolavie as my regular S&C for a while now. Got trial kit of Kerastase Gloss and K18 mask. Love it way too much. Was about to buy the Nutritive Travel Set and the oil/serum kit. Decided to try this first. I really don’t want to work more hours for my haircare 😂

I’m so mad at myself!! Found out I left TWO retained stitches in a guy recently. I can’t remember who is was (she just remembered to tell me - she didn’t really care just told me to find better light next time). I’m not sure if he was real scabbed, hairy, or what. But I never do this so now it is bothering me!

We do have terrible lighting so I’m wearing a head lamp (husband had one) from now on 😆 I don’t care how dumb I look!

Path results from last colonoscopy (last week). In 2024 I had 9 precancerous polyps. This time, 5. I am very healthy 52f. So mad. I know it could be so much worse but still…

The specimen is received in formalin, labeled with the patient's barcode and "ascending colon polyp x 4" Specimen received: Fragments of soft tissue Number of pieces: At least 10 Greatest dimension: 0.1 to 1.2 cm Architecture: Irregular and focally polypoid fragments and strips Color: Tan-pink Inked and sectioned: The single largest tissue is inked blue and quadrisected.

Some fragments show features of sessile serrated adenoma showing no evidence of cytologic dysplasia. Other fragments show adenomatous change which may represent fragments of tubular adenoma or alternatively dysplasia within sessile serrated adenoma. No evidence of high-grade dysplasia or carcinoma is seen.

Are there any cheaper versions of Dyson or Shark blow dryers? I’d love something smaller, lightweight, and most importantly - less damaging. But there is no way I can spend even 100 bucks on one.

I got a Lanage drying brush a few months ago and I’m seeing the damage it is doing. Very disappointed.

The air wrap type products didn’t work for me (tried my daughter’s Dyson).

52F. Just had my second colonoscopy today. My first one was 2024 and found 9 precancerous polyps. It was also found that I have a “very tortuous and difficult colon”. Fun fun.

I have been so anxious because I am terrified of perforation - especially with the tortuousness (is that a word?). So I had such high hopes that this one would be nice and clear so we could go to a longer time frame.

Well, of course not. In 2 years, my body decided to grow 5 more. Apparently, I’m just a polyp factory. I am really pissed. I live a very healthy lifestyle. Seriously, give me a break already!!

I guess this goes to show tho how important these colonoscopies really are. With sutab (the pills), the prep was really easy honestly. So, just do it.

There seems to be a lot of controversy on the socials around whether drugstore shampoos are great, good enough, or terrible. Thoughts? Do you have ones you love? Do you think they are all crap? What say you??

For those who use Kerastase - which line do you prefer and what kind of hair do you have? Is it worth the cost? Thanks in advance!!
