Idea for Randomizer Speedrun category: Hintless%

I’ve watched a few randomizers and an idea popped into my head for a category: Hintless%

1: You go as far as you can w/o hints, then when you use your first hint.

Do your hintless% =

Time without hint / total speedrun time

# OR/AND

Every hint you use makes your speedrun timer go up.

1 hint: 1x
2 hint: 2x

and so on

Flag of the Iberian Economic Union

After the Franco regime, instead of reinstating the monarchy, the Iberian peninsula formed a miniature economic union including the countries of Portugal and even Catalonia.

Just realized… every star has planets?

Just realized if every star is dimming that has HUGE implications.

For the astrophage to breed there MUST be a planet or source of CO2 (like Venus)

If it’s happening to every star, it means EVERY star has a planet with a rich CO2 atmosphere

Is it time for an Ai Prime Minister? (UK) I asked ChatGPT…

Prompt: Learn as much as you can about the issues facing the UK as of present (June 21, 2026).
Give me a list of the the top 5 issues facing the UK.
Response:

  1. Economic Growth, Cost of Living, and Public Finances

2. NHS and Healthcare Crisis

3. Immigration and Asylum

4. Housing Affordability and Supply

5. Political Trust, Social Cohesion, and National Direction

Prompt 2:
Knowing about these issues. Hypothetically, the current PM resigns. You are hypothetically made PM. Your goal is to help resolve these issues in as fair and good way as possible. Outside-the-box thinking is encouraged. First off you must select the cabinet members to help you solves these challenges. You want the best possible person for the job. Give me a list of your picks.

Response:
• Exchequer; Paul Johnson
• Health; Ara Darzi
• Housing : Burnham
• Home: Neil Basu
• Business: Dame Emma Walmsley
• Education: Sir Kevan Collins
• Science: Demis Hassabis
• Defense: Gen. Sir Nick Carter
• Energy: Dieter Helm
• Foreign: Sir Simon Fraser
• Gov Reform: Sir Michael Barber

Issue 1:

Policy 1: “Build to Grow” fiscal rule.
Keep day-to-day spending funded by taxes, but allow borrowing for projects independently certified to raise productivity: grid upgrades, rail bottlenecks, housing infrastructure, labs, ports, digital public services.
Policy 2: Tax simplification commission with automatic votes.
Abolish dozens of small reliefs, merge overlapping business taxes, and require Parliament to vote up/down on the full package. Simpler taxes are fairer than hidden carve-outs.
Policy 3: National productivity deals.
Offer sectors lower planning delays, faster visas, and R&D support in exchange for measurable wage growth, training, investment, and UK supply-chain commitments.
Policy 4: Worker dividend.
For firms receiving major public support, require profit-sharing or employee equity schemes.
Policy 5: Anti-poverty floor.
Raise Universal Credit work allowances, expand childcare support, and make benefits taper more gradually so people are not punished for working more.

Issue 2:

Policy 1: National waiting-list command centre.
Use one national digital queue for elective care. Patients could opt to be treated anywhere in the country, with travel and lodging covered for low-income patients.
Policy 2: NHS “digital spine.”
One interoperable patient record across hospitals, GPs, pharmacies, and social care.
Policy 3: Pharmacy-first expansion.
Allow pharmacists to substitute equivalent medicines during shortages and treat more minor conditions directly. Current shortages are severe enough to justify this.
Policy 4: Prevention budget protected by law.
Ring-fence spending for obesity, smoking, diabetes prevention, mental health, dentistry, and early cancer screening.
Policy 5: Social care national insurance settlement.
Create a dedicated social care contribution, capped costs for individuals, and better pay for care workers. Hospitals cannot function if medically fit patients cannot be discharged.
Policy 6: NHS productivity bonus.
Hospitals that reduce waits while improving safety get shared savings for staff bonuses and equipment.

Issue 3:

Policy 1: Fast, fair asylum courts.
Create specialist asylum tribunals with a 90-day target for initial decisions and 60-day appeal target.
Policy 2: End hotel dependency.
Replace hotel accommodation with publicly owned reception centres, inspected by an independent watchdog.
Policy 3: Contribution-based legal migration.
Tie work visas to genuine shortages, fair wages, training obligations, and regional need.
Policy 4: Integration contract.
Free English lessons, civic orientation, employment support, and local volunteering pathways for new long-term residents.
Policy 5: Employer enforcement surge.
Punish illegal underpayment and exploitative hiring more heavily than individual workers. This protects both migrants and UK workers.
Policy 6: Safe-route quotas.
Limited, controlled humanitarian routes negotiated with councils in advance, so compassion is planned rather than chaotic.

Issue 4:

Policy 1: Street-vote densification.
Let streets vote to permit mansion blocks, terraces, and mid-rise flats; residents share in local infrastructure funds.
Policy 2: New towns corporation.
Create publicly backed development corporations to build transit-connected new towns, with land value captured for schools, GP surgeries, parks, and transport.
Policy 3: Planning presumption near transport.
Automatic approval for medium-density housing near railway, tram, and major bus corridors unless there is a strong safety or environmental reason.
Policy 4: Land value tax pilot.
Pilot replacing some business rates and council tax with land value taxation in volunteer cities.
Policy 5: Public land housing bank.
Audit all public land and transfer suitable sites into a national housing bank for mixed-income development.
Policy 6: Renters’ stability deal.
Longer default tenancies, predictable rent increases, tougher action on unsafe landlords, and faster eviction only for serious arrears or antisocial behaviour.

Issue 5:

Policy 1: Citizens’ assemblies with binding parliamentary time.
Use assemblies on social care, migration, housing, and constitutional reform. Parliament must debate and vote on recommendations.
Policy 2: Delivery dashboards.
Publish live targets for NHS waits, homebuilding, asylum decisions, school attendance, court delays, and infrastructure milestones.
Policy 3: Ban second jobs for ministers.
Also expand lobbying cooling-off periods and publish ministerial meetings in near-real time.
Policy 4: Devolution by default.
Give metro mayors and councils multi-year budgets for transport, skills, housing, and public health.
Policy 5: National service, but civic not military.
A paid voluntary year for 18–25-year-olds in care, tutoring, conservation, emergency resilience, NHS support, or defense-adjacent technical roles.
Policy 6: “Fix the basics” courts programme.
More judges, digital case handling, expanded legal aid for early resolution, and night/weekend courts for backlog reduction.

So… thoughts?

Would you want a prime minister that advocates for similar policies?

Hypothetical: Is Gilroy/Lucas a time traveler from the future??? Early 21st Century USA documentaries?

Imagine if you will.

George Lucas/Tony Gilroy in the future. They go back in time and …using memories of historical documentaries about the early 21st century United States. They put a slant on the names and some of the events. Where do all the events line up historically?

Who is Andor? Mothma? Etc.

MMW: The Administration’s US250 is going to be so bad

It’s going to be so bad, everyone will decide that

NO, the USA didn’t turn 250 in 2026.

It turns 250 in 2039. 250 years since the constitution was enacted.

Date : By September 2039
Evidence: America in its modern form didn’t start until the constitution was ratified.

Getting rid of carts altogether

Honestly. First they get rid of inside trash cans
Then get rid of outside trash cans. People just throw it on the ground or leave it in cart.

Maybe Walmart should just get rid of carts.

Everyone that shops should buy their own cart and bring it with them.

  1. People would not have issues with finding a cart.
  2. Won’t need to collect carts. People aren’t going to just leave their own carts.
  3. Walmart could $$$ by selling personal shopping carts
  4. Trash would be easier to handle.
