Should I buy a 2016 i20 Active SX (40k km, 1st owner) for ₹4.8L from Cars24?

Hey everyone, I need some advice before I make a decision.

I’m planning to buy a Hyundai i20 Active 2016 SX (top model) from Cars24. Here are the details:
Price: ₹4,80,000
Ownership: 1st owner
Odometer: ~42,000 km
Variant: SX

I’ve already taken a test drive, and honestly, the car felt very smooth, refined, and nice to drive. No issues while driving, engine feels healthy, and overall it gave a good impression.

However, there are a few concerns:
The car is repainted on doors, bonnet, and trunk
There is also a dent on the roof as stated in their report

When I asked Cars24 about it, they said it’s just due to minor scratches, but I’m not fully convinced why so many panels are repainted. So I’m a bit confused now.

My questions:
Is it normal for so many panels to be repainted just for “minor scratches”?
Could this indicate an accident?
How reliable is the i20 Active 2016 long-term?
Are spare parts easily available as this is a discontinued model?
Is ₹4.8L a fair price considering the repainting and dent?
Would you recommend going ahead with this deal or skipping it?

here is the link: https://cars24.world/cx49ab

I really liked how the car drives, but I don’t want to regret it later if there are hidden issues.

Would appreciate honest opinions, especially from i20 Active owners or people experienced with used cars 🙏

10 years ago in Andaman, I shared a moment with someone I’ve never forgotten… trying to find her again

On November 1st, 2016, at 15:03, I was at Natural Bridge in the Andaman Islands. I was in 7th standard, just a kid, and I saw her.

She was wearing a white skirt with butterflies on it. She was really, really pretty. Her sister was in a black top and shorts, and her father was wearing a yellow striped T-shirt. We were both there with our families for around 45 minutes, just enjoying the place. It was a beautiful spot with pebbles and rocks.

I remember I was playing around, trying to mess with some small crabs there. I’m pretty sure she noticed me doing that. We made eye contact a few times, and I don’t know how to explain it, but it didn’t feel normal. It felt like something completely different, like for a few seconds everything else just disappeared.

I felt like she also wanted to talk, or at least there was something there, but I was just a kid. I didn’t have the courage or understanding to go up and say anything.

After some time, her family left, and then mine did too.

But that wasn’t the last moment.

I saw her again in the parking area. My family was around 9 people, so we had a mini van. I was sitting in the front seat, wearing goggles. As our car started moving, we passed by her car. She was just about to get in, and she saw me.

She smiled.

And then she made a small gesture with her hand, pointing towards her eyes like she was indicating my goggles, and smiled again. I smiled back.

And that was it. That was the last time I ever saw her.

For the first couple of years after that, I genuinely tried everything to find her. I did reverse image searches, searched online, anything I could think of back then. Nothing worked. Then for the next 8 years, I just gave up completely.

But now it’s been almost 10 years, and that memory just came back strongly. I still remember everything so clearly.

I do have some photos from that day. They were accidental, but her and her father’s faces are visible. If you think you might know her or her family, please DM me. I can share the photos for proof.

Also, if anyone here has any idea how I could even try to find her, please tell me. (posting the pictures directly on Instagram would invade privacy so i didn't), if you have any other ideas please help me out, maybe someone here was in Andaman around that time with their family, or knows someone who she was.

If this is the wrong subreddit, I’m really sorry. But I just want to say this once, I really need your help with this. Even if you think there’s a tiny chance you might know someone who was in Andaman around that time with their family, please let this reach them.

Also, if anyone has any idea how I could even try to find her, please guide me.

I would be grateful for my entire life!

I know this is a long shot, but I just felt like I had to try once more
